My son and daughter-in-law just purchased I-phones and they love them. Even my grandson likes to play games on it. I don't know what kind of contract that they signed, but as far as I know AT&T has the exclusive contract for these phones. They have come down considerably in price and who knows in the future if other carriers will be added. If you don't have to be the first in line to get a new product, usually you can get a much better deal after they have been out for awhile. Patience is the key.

Yeah, you are right! There is a saying in Chinese:"Not listening the old people word, suffer losses before the eye",I think it's always right. Many of us hurry to be the first in line to get the new product despite the elderships' advice, and they spend much more on it than they should pay.

I know quite a few Americins purched the Iphone when it first came out. Literly thousands hung out in front of stores having to be the first person to get it. The waiting list was redicoulous. The price has gone down since then and so has its popularity. Though still several continue to use the product and upgrade when a new version comes out.

No, I don't have the iphone now, nor have I ever had it, as I am not with AT&T, as right now they are the only ones with the contract to carry it. I have heard though that it is possible other carriers might get it once their contract is over. I know the iphone has come donw in price, and if I were with AT&T, I difinitely would have the phone. I am with Verizon Wireless, and they have good phones as phones go, but I really think the iphone is the best, and it will eventually fizzle out and not be quite as psopular as it is now. I will just stay with Verizon Wireless, for now, and I have to anyway, as I just upgraded and renewed my contract so I am stuck for 2 years. Take care, Merry Chistmas and happy mylotting.

The I-phone is very popular now, but I don't like to make contract with those carriers. They are merchant, and they will try their best to earn the benefits. And we can do nothing without admitting their deprivation if we have pact with them. So we can choose what we need without contract with any carrier. It is my freedom!
Maybe I will buy one without contract with AT&T even though the price is much more higher. After all,it is really very beautiful itself.
