Greetings MyLotters. There was a house fire in my city tonight. During that time I went to the post office and upon coming back there was a car in front of mine as I approached the general area of where the fire was at. Of course, the police had the intersection leading toward the place where the fire was blocked off. However, the driver in front of me stopped and wanted to turn down the street where the fire was at, despite the fact there were fire hoses lying along the road. Seemed like it did not matter to him an emergency was in progress. The police officer there indicated to him he could not go down that street, but the driver insisted. This went on for about 30 seconds, then the driver took off, going before me again but turning at the next corner.
Have you seen something like this before? What do you think about drivers like that?

Do you suppose he lived on that street? that's not an excuse for irresponsible behavior, I know, but it might help to explain it. I haven't seen anything like that lately, but it's true that some people are rude and self absorbed, even when they drive.

Maybe the driver just want to take a fast trip and don't want to take other routes..

I guess he didn't care there was an emergency going on,he just wanted to get where he was going.People are always in a hurry they don't care what they do to get there.I've seen something similar to what you described here.I used to live on a street that had a river a block away, when we got heavy rains it would flood. The police closed that road and people are so ignorant they drove up over the sidewalk to go around the barracade and then their car would stall out because they drove into deep water on the street.I used to watch people repeatedly do this all day and night too.
