has any one heard the news about microsoft being banned the sale of office word package in the new year. I was reading an article on yahoo buisness title "court bans sale of Word; Microsoft promises fix" Apparently Microsoft was sued due to patent infringement. so anyone looking to purchase Microsoft office package or anything from Microsoft should read this article first before parting with your money !!!

I am using pirate office 2007:-D?I don't think microsoft will not sell office 2010,they may cut off the blocks which been abused patent infringgement and then sell it.Don't you think so?

hi kkyeer, yes they did mention something like that, in efforts to fix the problem in time for the new year so that it would be available. but they also mentioned some sort of problem with language program I think in how the computer interprets and translates the language within the computer programs.

Office 2010 will become available this year, so far this is still in the beta or trial phase.

Hi anyabee, yes this is very real I just got done reading a few articles about this on yahoo, I posted the name of the article for those who are interested can check it out.
