How many hours do u sleep a day?

I think the proper amount of sleep per day is between 8 and 12 hours, depending on your age. I personally think 8 is enough, although i usually don't get more than 7 hours per night

well the correct equation is 6-8 hours in a day.depends from individual to individual as their type of work. and sleeps in night is more effective( as doctor says) because our brain secretes a harmone in night if we sleep and thats good for health...
i slep 8-10 hours in a day. but my timings are very fluctuating.

I definately think it depends on the person. My husband is fine with getting up at 6:15 every morning, but I go back to bed for another hour or two when he leaves for work. We usually go to bed between 10 and 11, so I get 8-10 hour probably!

I don't know correct equation for hours of Sleep. But doctors suggest to have 6 hours of sleep every day

Hi,
I think I've heard before that doctors recommend at least 5-6 hours of sleep for adults, but preferably 8 hours is the best. I could sleep for about 10-12 sometimes, it seems like. Last night I went to bed at 9p.m., which is EARLY for me and got up at 6a.m. (only because I had to) and I was still tired and not ready to get up! I love sleeping sometimes! Kids need to get much more sleep than adults, though. Depending on their age, they need around 10-12, lucky them!

Thanks for u'r response.Yes u heard it right.Doctors recommend 6-8 hours for adult & 10-12 hours or more for kids according to their age.Proper sleep is needed to live a healthy and sound life.Sleeping affects on so many aspect of human life.Such as,our memory,our thinking,our physical health,our behaviour,our capability of doing work,e.t.c.
