I prefer to travel by ac coaches. In Chennai the temperature is high normally and it will be difficult to travel by non ac coaches for long distances. We become thirsty too often and the vehicles too do not stop at many places for refreshing. That is the problem.

for me here in my country i would rather choose or more prefer to ride in an ordinary bus, because it will take to the place where you go so fast, meaning they usually never wait for passenger or been stuck up for how many minutes in every corner of the streets.

Even I hail from chennai and i prefer Train service. But when asked about the type of bus service which I would like to prefer, I can say that I choose A.C. buses always if I need to travel a long distance. If else, I would choose the ordinary bus as the mode of transportation. I always love to move in local buses inside chennai. Agreed that chennai is a hot city but still the ordinary bus service is cheap and best as AC buses charges an exhorbidant amount and it is quite un affordable by all for every time use. Thanks for starting the discussion and have a great day. Happy Mylotting. Cheers:-)

My favorite type of transport is train. I go on a bus if no trains are available. I find it interesting to go on different buses. I will never forget the coach I went on in South Africa. It had a speaker that gave a prayer to God asking to give us a safe journey. Then they have a film. The film was Moses and the Commandments. It dropped me at a petrol station to the edge of town. A lady took ages to come from the guest house to collect us. In Australia the driver has to stop to rest every so many hours. I was traveling on a coach and it stopped at four in the morning for a rest. It was cold and tiring to have to get off the coach at that early hour. The journey from Lithuania to Estonia was really great because we traveled on the front two seats of the double decker coach. They announced place names in the middle of the night. It arrived in Tallinn at six in the morning. It was a night saving on accommodation. It had been quite a comfortable journey.
