merry x-mass my friend...thats exiting to realize that friends from distant countries can do that to us and especially you...its kinda funny when i realized that i had a chinese friend request in my facebook...she was sooo cute to ignore...but i later realized that she wanted to know how our different worlds are...she asks about my culture, how our country stands out and now she has promised to host me to china one day! well its all about being true to yourself and the ones you meet and make-up to be friends with...so having buddys from such distant and mordern diversitiees shows that they care about us and you should pay back by simply giving back to them a simple thing as your friendship...it dosent cost a thing but its worth it...and judging from your words above im pretty sure you have told your family and friends about it...thats what i did also because it makes one happy to be recognized by others in such a way...having friends from abroad..keep the friendship and make sure it grows healthy...keep up the spirit and pass it on to others and be part of their day to day laughter...thanx

i also love friends requests here but not in the other social sites. here people talk with you not on any other ones. also it seems more read and respond the more friends you have here. problem is the ones that ask friends then try and sell you something or get you to join for them, etc.

Hi,
When I get a friendship request from someone I don't know I feel bad at first, then after a while I feel good. Pretty strange huh? Usually people who send me friendship requests actually ask for something, a favor or a help. That is why I get little paranoid at first. Then after a careful consideration I find it encouraging. I consider it another endowed by God to help a person.
Thanks for starting this interesting discussion
God bless you

I feel nice, not about the popularity, but about that the people like out responses/comments so they want to follow us and make us a friend of theirs. I immediately approve any friend request cos I too like making friends online!

I feel very good when users want to be my friend. I have many more friends than I ever thought I would get. I haven't even counted them, as it would take way to long to do so. I get friend requests nearly every day, and I usually accept them too, I have had to delete some though that haven't been active for a very long time. I need to go through more of my friends list and probably delete more of them, but as long as they remain active, then I keep them as friends. I suppose there are reasons that some will stop coming here after a time, as they might have got discouraged, or just decided it wasn't worth it anymore to be here. I can't see myself anywhere else but here. Good luck to you, Merry Christams and happy mylotting.
