Do you complain when you don't like the service?

Do write a comment in a suggestion box, complain or you just ignore when you don't like the service you receive? There was one time when I was making some transactions in a bank. The process was very slow that it takes me four hours to wait. I did asked what happened then the teller just told me to sit down and wait for my name to be called. I experienced that twice. There they have a small box where you can send your comment and suggestion. I was thinking to write it then but I think twice and just go on my way and promise never to use the service of that bank anymore. How about you, do you complain when you don't like the service you receive from any establishment?

Dear Care; Wow! Four Hours waiting for service in a bank? I would not hesitate to take my money elsewhere! Under the `circumstance of that which you have described, I would write a comment for sure, simply stating that a four hour wait to be served in unacceptable. I would be so tempted to call for the manager and threaten to take your business elsewhere unless they shape up! As for service I have experienced that was less than best, for the most part I just leave and forget about it. For example, bad service in a restaurant. If there is something wrong with the food, I will definately complain. If the service provider is absolutely rude or talks inappropriately, I will lodge a formal complaint and will follow up with it too. Sometimes, us as consumers have to say something, otherwise how can we expect the service to ever get better?

Dear Care; I still find it hard to believe that it actually took four hours for the bank to serve you. This just isn't right! I would take my money and patronage else where for sure! Happy New Year!

Yeah, it has taken me four hours to in cash my check. I've been using their service twice, the first time they told me that they encounter online problem that they can't handle at the moment so I did understand and for the second time the teller was quite busy and told me that I have to sit down and wait for my name to be called. The good thing at that time was I met one of my old friend, so we able to talk and hardly notice the four hours passed. So it's okay. But I promised myself to never their service again. When it comes to foods, I do complain, especially when the food is fully cook, or if the service crew is not polite. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and Merry Christmas.

i do complain if i dont like any service but i never done those writing thing. instead, i go directly to the person i encountered unlikely service or tell it to their superior so they'll be the one to do the rest. i feel more comfortable doing that coz somehow ill immediately receive an apology and theyll be informed immediately as well. unlike if i try writing all my complains, they wouldnt even feel how angry i was during the unlikely experience. and i think that its good for them to know it asap coz it might happen to the next client on the same day again.. merry christmas careguarden.

Yeah, it's different when it comes to writing because even though you use the precise words but still it's different. And other thing as well, sometimes they often take it for granted. Unlike when you complain it personally, on the spot everything will be settled and answered. Well anyway thank you for sharing with us and Merry Christmas drakesuyat!

I actually do complain a lot. I say it very nicely - as nice as I possibly can even though I'm angry and irate because of the poor service they're giving me. If there is no one to answer my inquiries about why it's taking so long to accommodate my needs, I put it on paper. I make use of those suggestion boxes because I believe that someone actually reads it. If there is no way to complain, then I just blog about it :)

Well I don't really complain a lot. Even though there are times that I should have to, but still I often keep it to myself, it's because I don't want to feel bad, as most of the time I can't control my emotion and tend to say words I might rather regret in the end. It's good that you know how to speak well and manage yourself when you complain. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and Merry Christmas to you!

Wow, I don't think I could've waited 4 hours at a bank. I am a really impatient person. I would just leave after the stuff was done and never go to that bank again. I remember there was this customer that complained his soup was cold and they reheated it for him and give the soup for free. I am just not a complainer at all.

Yeah, I should have leave that place, but I have no other choice. I can't get back my transaction. I just hold my temper and be patient. I always remember to put this quote on my head "everything shall pass away, and everything happen for a reason." I didn't leave a comment because that moment all I wanna do leave the place. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

I have yet to write a letter to an establishment, and I think I should write one soon (or maybe after the holidays). Usually when I get bad service I get in some slight shock hahaha I just stay quiet and somehow plot some evil things in my head. Seriously, most times I stay quiet, and think about my "speech" that I'll address to the manager or someone else my problem. But it takes me too long to think about it that the anger just dissipates, and I dismiss everything.

Yeah, that also happened to me. Almost always I think the right words and emotions to express my disappointments with the service, but every time I decide to talk my anger subside. So I prefer to just move on and get out that place as much as possible and promised to never ever come back. I guess, I'm not good when it comes to confrontation. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

Hi care! If I am asked to wait for unnecessary reasons and do not get adequate explanation, I don't mind making complaints to the higher authorities. I have also experienced in banks that some of the staff is not cooperative and keep giving you evasive or stock replies, which further irritates you. I do not spare the erring staff and make sure that he/she mends his way with customers. Good Post!

I don't complain at once.I tell the staff nicely at first.if I told them nicely and nobody has listened or the service has gone worse,I will tell them off.in a way,my voice will get a bit louder.also,I give that 'stern' facial expression,so they'll know I'm not happy with their service.

Yes I do complain when the bad service is already getting to my nerves. One specific example is my internet provider. A lot of incident happened when smart bro will just disconnect me from the internet. The maximum days I wasnt able to connect was 5 days. The problem was resolved but the damage was laready done.
