Hiya kuloor, I once tried to make "meatballs" but they were really made out of cauliflower and other ingredients all vegetarian things. It took me about two hours altogether and although they tasted nice the end result was not what I wanted because I had trouble getting the mixture to stay in the shape of meatballs. However although they were a funny shape I can now laugh at my efforts it was fun trying but too much time in the Kitchen. My lot does not like cauliflower so I tried to disguise the cauliflower by making it into meatballs well try again some time. Yours sounds good though.

Hiya kuloor, That´s okay. Now I just give them more or less what they want. But I use a lot of green and red peppers but not the very hot ones though. Lettuce is the only green they will look at. Happy New Year to all.

Now days people are adding anything to sambar. Earlier it was only Drum sticks, or Brinjal which used to be added to Sambhar. Slowly some people started to put potatoes, and now you have used Cauliflower in sambhar. Of course anything can be added to sambhar, since drumsticks and brijal, were the few vegetables which were grown in the olden times, they were the two vegetables added to sambhar, now with the advent of the so called english vegetables, anything can be added.

Hi kuloor, I have also tried cauliflower sambar with other vegetables and has come out well. Some people do not like the smell it creates when cooked. But, I like it.
