This morning I was drinking some tea in my balcony. The date is painful reminder of my mother's death. From my balcony I watched doves fly as usual. Many of them are white, and in a way I think of them as symbol of peace and love. Even as I watched them, I kept wondering where is one of them that I used to see regularly. It had some problems with its leg, and even though I tried to feed it several times, I could not. It is not as if it has never gone missing before. But today, of all days, I missed it. I wonder if you all watch birds. I wonder if any of you have anything to tell me about this.

Th white dove went to collect gift from the white dress angel, your avatar. I do watch birds near my house. When I went to dry chillies on the terrace, a big white bird was sitting on the nearby tree and shouting. I never saw such a big white bird before. Then my husband said some eagles are big and white coloured too. Next day when I heard the sound, I ran upstairs and saw it. Some satisfaction came to me that I could see it again. This continued for four days. But then I never heard it's voice. May be it went somewhere or it is a foreign bird and went back to it's country.

Birds... are well.. in a sense, strange. Well they act strangely sometimes I wonder why.
Animals are just the same.
Like you feed a street dog everyday, and someday while doing the same, it bites you?
Strange right?..
Such things have happend around me, not to me really, but around me. I'd really like to know what others have to say about this strange behaviour...

I have had chicks eating from my hand, it is a very ticklish experience. :) And dogs - especially labrador pups can lick your face as if it were ice cream. LOL. They are complete contrast to soberness of Alsatians. :) It depends upon the breed of the dog though, and how you bring up I suppose. :) Thanks for responding ilovepiesomuch. Do you really love pies that much? LOL. Have a nice day, and a merry christmas and a happy new year. :)

hai vandana good morning !
what ever the things happens in our life just reflects our state of mind .even though you are in a position of grief the birds which are around you will teach you that don't be discouraged keep your face to the brighter side ....
nature teaches us how to live...
the doves you regularly watched may miss you at one day (peace may miss you), but in the next day you will definitely find it.that's why we should be optimistic...
please hold your hopes firmly and continue your rest of life ...
all the best!
