Few days from now before 2010.Everybody is excited to face another year despite unexpected situations that will come.Let's admit that many things in the past had happened to our lives. As we evaluate ourselves, we learned a lot from our daily experiences for the whole year.Maybe some goals were achieved and some weren't.Most people set new year's resolution as a guide in starting all over again especially in facing 2010.How about you?Do you also set new year's resolution? or in another term, do you also set goals or plans?Thank you for your responses.

I think setting resolutions is actually setting yourself up for a year of feeling like a failure. I think we should look forward to the new year, as a way of finishing what we didn't or couldn't accoplish the last year. I don't set a new year resolution, but a goal of what I would like to accomplish by the end of the next year. It's alot less stressful to look at it that way. But for all who do set newyear resolutions, Good luck and Happy new year to you. Having goals for yourselves is awesome.

Yes, I think I do have every year end and I'm really really sad `coz almost all of it weren't achieved.
So my new year's resolution are, first to lessen my lies. I keep on lying to fit in some friends or lie just to look like somebody infront but I swear! I'm really sad after I did it. I don't actually do it on purpose, I dunno. I guess I'm really crazy. Second, To obey my Mom and to study seriously. Third, To do my best to make my talents well use and to make them flawless(seriously dreaming over here**) And lastly, To overcome shyness and be an open-minded person and more positive and to accept things in reality. Oh! and to become a person who has a very confident self and to socialize more to new people and to friends! :D HARINAWA!

I would have to say no, I do not set new years resolutions anymore. I used to, but not being able to meet the excessive demands I put on myself just made me depressed. Now I keep a spiral notebook of goals that I have and what I can do to accomplish them, etc.
I do like to evaluate how the year went and think about how to improve my situation/progress towards my goals. There are several times throughout the year that I do this though - New Year's, spring/beginning of summer, and fall (beginning of the school year).

I don't have a habit of setting up new year's resolution, to be honest. I do have goals in life, and it's the right to start next year. My baby will be born in the beginning of January, and my resolution is to be a good mother for her. That is my main goal. Oh, I think I also want to be a little more serious in earning online, because I kind of enjoy it.

Yes, the 2010 is around the corner.I have made a lot of plans for it but most important thing is i haven't made a evaluate for this year 2009.We just have a meeting this morning, we were asked for handing in a year-end summary for this year, wow, i just find how time flies and don't know what to say about the summary.
But to 2010, i do have a lot of plans.I will get the certificate of education on March, a big party on May,have a test on Sep...
It will be a busy year...

one thing i can suggest is never set yourself any goals for any new year at all, you will not only disappoint yourself, but be the laughing stock of friends and family as well, no offense intended from their point of view. but you always feel like akward when that happens. my advice, take each year, month and day as it comes and try to keep up, because those three things will never wait for you.
