That's my definition of Twitter! I have an etsy shop and utilize twitter a lot. I tweet about what's available in my shop and others are doing the same. I have managed to make many sales there. But basically, I feel that Twitter is "Sellers selling to sellers".
Do you tweet? If so, what are you generally tweeting about? Are you on Twitter just to follow your favorite stars? Do you think this site is just a fad?

Growing up in Britain a "Twit" was used to call someone an idiot or a fool. IMO people who spend their time twitting are definitely Twits (as in idiot) and a Twit I am not. What a sad life twitters must have when they have nothing better to do than follow strangers around!

I was not referring to it as a sales tool. That is clever and not included in the twits. I mean the other people who seem to want to know when a celeb cratches his or her butt or any other anal item.1 person likes this

Twitter did come on strong so it may be just a fad. I did have a twitter that I used to broadcast links that I linked to, like the link bee site where you get money? lol. Well I got "banned" so I haven't gone back. Have nothing to tweet about, but suppose I could tweet about articles I intend to write.
In any case, Hope your sells have been through the roof for you!

I have no idea what Twitter is or what its about, is it about the same thing as Facebook and Myspace? I hear people talking about tweeting all the time, and asking do you tweet, I'm like, what the heck are you talking about..haha. I can't say if its a fad or not, the other websites I mentioned are still going strong.

I'm glad u are doing well w/your etsy shop. I am not on twitter. I am on facebook as u know but mylot keeps me busy. i'm so far behing w/it right now don't know if i'll ever caught up after the wild tues. of everyone posting sooo much tues.
