Hello! Yes, I know that problem with watching television and when there is not enough tvs at home then sometimes you really have to argue to watch what you want...when I was younger, I always argues with my dad because we had only 1 tv at home but now I don't have that problem anymore...good luck and thanks for your opinion!!!

Hello what is that you really like about reading a newspaper? Is it that feeling that you have something in your hands or what it is? Because I think it takes a lot of trees to make newspapers and then to print them out etc... have a great day!!!

But i don't like sit in front of the computer fot a long time, sometimes i even print the electronic materials out. But i will take your advice and not buy newspaper if possibie. And i can borrow them from other people. Hehe~~

We generally watch the weather channel when we first get up, and a few minutes of the news. We get a paper but I usually find things out on line, even here, before it gets in our local news or paper. It's sad. We do watch the news in the evening.

I see. I watch forecast as well, it is good to be informed about the weather so you know what to wear in the morning :) But let me ask you, why do you read or buy paper then if everything is on line faster and it saves trees :) because paper needs to be made and then printed etc...or you are that kind of person who likes to keep something in hands and then read or maybe you read while you are in a bus towards to work? Thanks for your opinion!!! Have a great day!!!

We get a paper at work, for our customers to read. So, the single paper goes through many hands. We don't get one at home.

Hi, missweety. I have watched the news in the past. But, I have been viewing any news on Yahoo news when I come on the Internet. It is very useful. My grandmother used to get the newspaper at her house and I would read it when she would finish reading it. It was always something bad on the front page. If I have the chance, I will watch the news on our T.V. But at this moment, we don't have a T.V. in our apartment. I just use this laptop for catching the latest news. I usually will watch the news everyday when logging into my computer.

Hello and thanks for sharing your experience!!! I watch news sometimes on my laptop. We have such web pages as delfi and tvnet these are the one I use. I hardly ever read news papers. I think reading news in internet and watching them on TV is enough. Best regards!!!

Yes, knowing about world's vents and news gives us more information about all around happening things and it is much more to other people to communicate with us because we know more and we are more open...I think so...

I catch my news on line. I get so very tired of seeing the murders, rapes, destruction and wars on the evening news. There is little or no good news anymore and I find that I get depressed if I watch too much news. I reach the point of "Why go on? Everything is going to pot!", so I will read the news on line or in the newspaper and leave it at that.

Hello! Reading news on line has one very positive point: you can choose what you want to read and just skip the news that you don't want to know or better not to know not to stress yourself too much... Good luck!!!

I watch news on the TV every morning and evening too, like you. I would like to be informed and updated about thongs happening around the world, especially business issues since my job is business related. I would watch the news on the internet too, which gets updated several times a day too.

Hello! Yes, watching news helps to be informed about all things going on around us and watching news has helped me in my job too. I can talk more free on more topics. Not just talking about weather for example. And I think if you know more you are more interesting like a person to talk with :) Have a great day!!!

I don't usually watch the news. It's something that I usually try to avoid watching. I find that a lot of the news stories are somewhat sad and depressing. Although I do try to stay up to speed with these things, watching the news is not something that I do all the time.

Hello! There was a time for me as well when I tried to avoid watching news. It was when all that economical crises hit my country. The unemployment raising every day, people unhappy, no money, lots of beggars etc., lots of companies going bankrupt, lots of friends and relatives without work or getting stressed about their own work, about salary etc...and every day the same, that why I avoided watching them..

I'm usually on top of the news everyday towards the evening. However the news in my area is always very boring so I tend to watch either HLN news or CNN. I also usually watch Nancy Grace, Jane with Issues and The Joy Behar show. However for the past 3 weeks now the news is all about Tiger Woods so I can't be bothered to watch. I think they are taking this to far with the coverage. Who really cares what is going on with him and his wife. Its is wife's problem not ours. I can't stand it anymore.

Hello! I watch our local program about what has happened during the week in our country, it is mainly about politicians. If you would see that, you would be really surprised. Our politicians have stolen so much money and in my country is such corruption that you cannot do anything...so when we watch that program we get really mad so sometimes it is better not to see it but we watch it because it is our tax money that is being spent carelessly...so we really care about it but it hurts as well...but I agree there are things that we don't care about till it happens with us...Best regards!!!

Yes I watch it everyday. There is always something happening around the world and I find some of it interesting. And some of it is very sad. And some is very funny, I enjoy it sometimes but I hate it when something happens and they go on and on about it for days I can't stand that I feel like telling them o.k. we get the point don't threy have anything else to talk about?

Hello! Yes, I don't like that neither if they go on and on for one topic for several days. It's ok if they tell one story and then tell it again after some time (a week or after a year) then it's nice to see how something has changed to positive side (it is usually changing to positive side) Thanks for your opinion!!!

I usually watch my local newscays a couple times a week in the evenings- at 6 or at 10. I never wake up early enough to watch the morning news, lol. Sometimes I'll catch the national news, but for those big stories I usually find out about them on the internet.

I watch news at 7 o'clock that is the time when I am up to get prepared to go to work. News goes about 1 hour till 8 o'clock but I never watch them till end because after 20 min they start to repeat everything ;) when it goes to repeating I turn on some music channel :) so I catch up some good mood before arriving to work ;) Have a great day!!!

The news has almost no 'real' effect on me so I don't watch it at all. If my inner self is happy then any change to the physical world will be minute in significance. When I did watch the news, it seemed like most of it was useless information that didn't pertain to me or I just found it uninteresting.

Hello! I understand. However, news sometimes seems to be very uninteresting I watch my local news every day and try to watch sometimes world news like BBC, CNN because at work my big boss who comes from other country likes to ask us: did you see what happened there...or there...do you know that ...etc. so it is good to be informed and the feeling is good when you can answer on the topic :) but it's just for me ...so anyway, thanks for your opinion!!! Have a great day!!!

I was it too. Every morning, mon-fri. we have good morning show from 5am to 9 or so. I believe they have far too much air time. After about the first 30 min. they start repeating themselves. Kind of like when your on cnn too long. they start repeating themselves.
