Me and my sister where cleaning my mom's closet yesterday and we were joking about mom's clothes... Believe me! She still has the dresses she wore during my baptismal! then we saw some of our pics and noticed that some of the pictures shows that mom was wearing the same clothes like my graduation, my sisters debut... We tissed mom that on my baby's baptismal I am going to wear those clothes. Then today I went malling to find a new blouse for new years eve... when I saw this beautiful frog suit and baby plates...it was so colorful. I wanted it so bad that instead of buying the clothes that are for me I end up buying things for my baby... When I got home I told myself that I'll just be wearing the same clothes that are in my closet... Now I learned why mom never had new clothes for parties and events... :(

Hi! Yes, it easy to make fun of what our mothers wore, or even went through until we go through them ourselves. I know exactly what you are talking about, and i learned the same way you did about my mom. It is amazing what we will do for our children, and what we will go through for them.

You have a really great mother and the same goes for your child, as it's a parents responsibility to put their children before them. Congratulations on not being selfish and caring for another more than yourself. All the best.
