Do you think that fast food have some benefits? Maybe for singles, who work a lot and can t cook at home, or maybe for somebody who is very busy and stay a lot to office.
must junk food to be banned from our daily meals? I know that is impossible this, just because this is a big business who bring a lot of money ...but with what price?
With our health price i am sure; so, what you think about fast food?

The most important advantage of fast food is convenient and fast.Though some of them are junk food we cann't leave them.We can eat less fried food in order to keep our health while we have no time to make food by ourselves.I think there are still lots fast food without fried.

I do not think it should be banned but I do NOT think people should eat it a their main source of food. It is usually very highly in calories and fat contents. However for an OCCASIONAL quick meal I think it is OK.

It is fast if you have to get a quick bite to eat and get back to work. No I do not think junk food should be banned it should be up to the person if they want to eat junk food. The person can choose what kink of junk food they want and when they want it.

dear ice,
for me junk food is not so bad. it is a practical way for us people to be able to take something while away from restaurants and when we dont have a sandwich in the bag and then hunger strikes.
it could be substituted with biscuits, or oats, but it will not hurt to have it ones in a while, right?

I know fast food isn't the appmity of 'healthy eating" even salds and other 'heealth-concious foods' have their risks, but they are important. Not so much because they are a good way to make money if you're in the business, but, it is a quick-fix meal for some who needs something that if eaten right can be a lot more long-lasting then chocking down that candy bar.
So it does have a use.

Fast food restaurants do have some little benefits. As what you've said, it is good for somebody who is busy working and is having no time to cook and prepare food for his/her meal. In my case, I sometimes eat in a fast food restaurant because I find it very convenient and hassle-free in temrs of preparation. honestly, I don't know how to cook. Maybe, it sounds strange for a woman like me but that's true. And with that, I seldom eat a home-made food. My boyfriend is the one cooking something for our meal. So if he is not around, I don't have any choice but to buy in a fast food restaurant. It is indeed beneficial on my part. On the other hand, I am aware that there are also disadvantages of eating in a fast food restaurant. One of its disadvantages is the cleanliness and safety of that food. We are not aware of how the foods were being prepared and cooked.

I don't believe in banning things, just because some people are irresponsible. While we're at it, why not ban l i q u o r because of drunk driving? But those who do not drive drunk will suffer. I think that people need to take responsibility for their own actions, and if not, it should not be the problem of the innocent.

If you don't want/like fast food, don't eat it... It's really that simple. Why try to limit peoples freedoms? There are tons of benefits to fast food. Its cheap, its easy, its convenient, its a good business.

And it's so yummy! I have no prob with it. If you become fat because of it, well blame your appetite, not the food.

Hi, Ice!
Fast food is junk, indeed, but I don't think it should be banned. People have a right to do stupid things, such as eating that stuff. They pay the consequences. There are already far too many rules imposed on everyone's life.
I used to thing some sort of warning should be printed on the containers, but nobody would pay attention to it.

I think that fast food companies are striving to turn around and make healthier foods to attract more customers. More and more people are not going to fast food restauraunts for either the fact of health or the fact of the economy. I think that most fast food is unhealthy but that some is starting to become more healthy because of the addition of salads to many menus. Even Subway, a sandwich place, is offering salads now.

The thing about all fast food restaurants today is, they give you an option. If you need something fast, you don't have to get a greasy hamburger or fries, you can choose healthier options from their menus. Things such as salads, fruits, low fat or even fat free dressings, grilled chicken or other meats etc are offered. Fast food doesn't have to be fat food and that's something that a lot of people don't realize. Even pizza is a good choice if you choose a veggie pizza and ask for half the cheese or even no cheese to be added. The thing is, once you get used to eating healthy, even though you might go to fast food places a lot, you will understand that you DO have these options and you can always ask them to modify your order to suit you in order to avoid the excess fat, calories and sodium that usually fills greasy burgers and fries.

I don't think it should be banned at all! I know it is not healthy for us but some places do give you choices of healthy things at a fast food place. I like them they are conveinent and cheap as well and when you don't have much money or time to spend cooking they are a great thing!

As the name implies, its fast and easy for folks too busy or who just don't want to be bothered...As for junk food, it depends on your definition..Spaghetti-o's are junk food to me..So if we were to ban junk food, or convenience foods, that taste good (often because of high sugar and/or salt content) and minimal nutritional value we'd wipe out every grogery store in the world because, honestly, most of the canned and frozen processed foods are little more than space fillers when hungry. They add little more than that to our diet..So I guess we have to rely on folks making informed choices..hmmm..Which means McDonalds is quite safe from extinction!...Enjoy!

I don't think fast food should be banned. You can get something that's not good for you or a healthier meal. I am disabled and go to drive thru windows when it's available. Fast food places are about the only ones that have drive thrus. I don't think it should be done everyday, but like I said you can get a salad or something at most places-even McDonalds now.

I am addicted to fast food and only dream of eating it rather than eating home cooked food.
The taste is what matters and the fast food is fast to eat and tasty whose taste cant be compared to anything else.

Fast foods are tailor made for thiose who have very busy and hectic work schedule and it comes handy. Yes for working class like me fast food comes quite handy. They are cheap as well as tasty and nothing can beat its taste. Being a south Indian, I always used to take traditional items such as Idli, dosa, vada and pongal for breakfast and it is the only item i always used to have in fast food. Yes, Junk foods are quite an unhealthy but tasty ones. It is ok it it is being consumed once in a while but not on daily basis. Consuming junk foods on regular basis not only helps in putting on body weight but also results in the development of certain other body complications. I dont say that junk foods have to be banned but people must be aware that it is not ggood for health if taken frequently. Have a great day. Cheers:-)

as we know, fast food making life easier because saving time for single or busy people but for me fast/junk food contained a lot of preservatives and additives in order to enhance the look and taste but can make people unhealthy. so consumers themselves need to manage their fast/junk food intake or limit the consumption once a month or couple months. but if you can stop taking fast/junk food in daily meals is better.

I don't really like fast food at all. It just seem like the big fast food restaurants sell these unhealthy foods to people and they don't even know its not healthy for them. I think customers just see it as a way to have a quick bite to eat. But you should only be eating fast foods once in a while. Not all the time.

I love fastfood and atleast have the delicious noodles in there atleast two to three times a week and we hang out there most of the times with all my friends.some times i think that having too much of those is not good for health so i am trying to control myself rather i am trying to divert my mind towards the juice shop which is healthier.most of the fast food owners are different countries in our place and they make huge money especialy on the weekends and they are quiet popular in here.If you have any plans you can come to our place icesmile you end up with huge profits.good day.
