without being told, it would be easy to spot which category i belong to... the "difficult to read" category of course. so, i'm wondering, is there anything i'm doing wrong? why is it so difficult (or uninteresting) to read? please advice needed. thanks.

I think its just because life isn't fair. Some people are just better at doing things than others, and reading is one of them. When I was a kid, I always learned things really quickly and got good grades without really trying, while some other kids tried really hard but couldn't get better than a B. :/

that is exactly the point. life is terribly unfair. i myself do not find it easy to read, however, i don't fail, i just end up with average or a little better than average grades. i know i can do a lot better if only studying can be fun for me. :( thanks for ur response.

Not believe there is "I do not like to read," but rather "I have not yet found a book that would captivate me even if I tried any so far. "

Hi eseomane, I think a love of reading is found in early childhood and once we have it it sticks with us forever. If one is brought up without books around one then it must be harder to acquire the love for it at a later age. I have always adored reading and introduced my son to words and books as soon as possible and he was reading by himself at three and will now have his love of reading for life.

Pick materials that interest you. It is useless to read a marketing book when your passion is in sports. My friend bought the entire package of Harry Potter for her son. It's been in her home library for four years now and are still as neat as when the package was delivered. But culinary mags are scattered all over the house. The son wants to be a chef!
