Good question my brother..yes of course generally speaking I am happy. I would not consider myself happy when I would be waking up not in my good health and in the right mind of thinking. Though some trials and big problems are sometimes the mean reasons why people not happy but in my way of thinking I am already used to it ever since. What I would maybe not usual to me when I would be waking up one day with "short circuited mind" where in I could no longer think and distinguish what is right from wrong...I hope I made myself understood brother..ohhh one thing brother..Happiness here on earth is just temporary one, you know what I mean..take care brod...More power.. Mobhomeir hee...

I'm happy that I have a family that loves me unconditionally. I am happy because I'm still living here on this planet we call earth. Actually there are so many thing to be happy about but I realized that if that thing you cherish in life is gone and cannot be reach then happiness doesn't exist. You have to feel nothing to feel happiness because if you learn to feel something whether love or hatred then sadness will follow.

hello dong! as far as i'm concern, i can say that as a whole, i am leading a happy life. yes, i am happy with the life that i have now. i am happy to see that my family are living a peacefully & harmoniously with each other and remains steadfast in our faith... i am contented & satisfied with what i have and what i get in my life...i usually count my blessings and always thankful even on a little thing that i recieved from God, whatever it is... i think, happiness is not difficult to attain, as long as we know how to be contented & satisfied & appreciate things... for me, the greatest thing that brings happiness in my life, aside from my family & friends is the fact that i am still here, standing strong and actively doing my 'duty' and serving our God, and yes strong with my faith & feels His presence in my life... what else can i ask for? that's the real happiness for me...

I think family and my pets make me happy.Material things are temporary.Material things will fool me into thinking I'm happy, then when I'm bored with the object,I'm unhappy.

Happiness is a state of mind. Well people say money can't buy you happiness, which is really an inaccurate thing to say. I see mega-rich people who are really happy in the same way that some of their peers are unhappy too. There are poor people who are happy in the same way that there are poor people who are miserable and sad. If you find contentment and joy in your life or in the thing you do, then you'll find happiness. So it's not a question of wealth or the lack of it. A 2 year old kid will find amazement in a simple thing like blowing soap bubbles in the wind. Like I said, happiness is a state of mind. Merry Christmas to you and your family, my friend. ^^

I always think the true happiness is come from the inner self. When I can feel the peace every moment, no matter what'd happened or what's happening, and there's no more desire or demanding from my heart, then it's considered as true happiness. Well, this is the true happiness I'm pursuing, but I am not there yet. Generally, I am happy, though my happiness is still attached to my family, especially my lovely baby boy. Whenever I see him or think of him, I feel happy, as he's really my precious gift. Also, I always consider myself as a lucky person, as I have a happy family and there are not much obstacles in my life. Or when there's any, I just try to take them positively. I always think that if we can think positive, we can always be happy. As for the material things that can make us happy, it's only for temporary. When the things have gone, we will not be happy anymore. Hence, we can't depend on the outer stuffs to make us happy. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone!

Such a tough question. You're right, material things make us happy sometimes, but it should not rule our life. They wont matter most in our lives. There are times that we feel so low and depressed. We experience unnecessary stresses in our lives. There are even times of thinking on how to let go, accept or change things. We have done stupid things and worried a lot. You always say "Life is what we make it" and it's true. So now, I'm (re)learning to ease my stresses, getting my life organized again, trying to be optimistic and be happy. All these can be achieved with God's help, so I pray that He will guide and help me. "In order to have great happiness you have to have great pain and unhappiness - otherwise how would you know when you're happy?" ~Leslie Caron
