I love salad, it's so good for you and taste so good, you can put so many different things in a salad. I personally love many different kinds whether it be a fruit salad, a green's salad, I love the bagged salad you can buy but I also love salad with Spinach, Peppers, Olives, and Tomatoes. I'm glad I've loved veggies and salad from the time I was a young child, I know it's one of those things you either hate it or you love it. I try to eat it a couple times a week or more since it's very good for you and a doctor would recommend it as well. What's your favorite kind and how often do you eat salad?

I like a lot of different salads but one of my favorites is coleslaw put up by safeway with the dressing included, it is so good and I always diced up some tomatoes and added a bit of basil to make it really delicious. I like spinach salad with hardboiled eggs and bacobits in it with Nature valley lo fat ranch dressing. fruit salad with coconut and pineapple and cool whip and chopped nuts. it is so good the cool whip makes a good dressing for it. we had this tonight at Gold Crest. I think that you could use other fruit but like the pineapple coconut and cool whip combo best.also the kind of potato salad my mom used to make with potates cut fine and chopped celery and chopped hard boiled eggs and chopped green pepper and lo fat ranch dressing again so good has to be really chilled too. radishes also are good in this.

That sounds so good, I forgot about Coleslaw too, I love it but most people I know hate it, I guess it's one of those things you either love it or you hate it. I'll have to try hard boiled eggs with my Spinach salad next time, that sounds very good.

This probably sounds a bit boring, but I like the traditional old-fashioned type British salad with lettuce leaves, sliced cucumber, sliced or diced beetroot, watercress or mustard & cress, sliced or quartered tomatoes - then add whatever the protein part of the meal is to be such as ham or cheese or egg (or a combination of those or anything else similar), served with vinegar, salt and pepper as condiments, and eaten with bread & butter or buttered rolls.

Oddly enough, I just started eating salads a few years ago. Now I absolutely love them. I love caesar salad and greek salad. Lately though I enjoy a field green salad with a fruit on top, maybe cranberries, some chopped nuts, a crumbled cheese, with a vinegarette Im not sure why but these are just so appealing to me. Unfortunately when I make a salad at home though it seems to only consist of Romaine Lettuce, cheese, croutons, and dressing. And I eat salad almost every single day.

My favorite salad is very simple because I like to have different kinds of fruits inside. I like fruit salad, too. I seldom eat salad in winter, I like to have it in summer. I love China

There are two things I would like to say about salad. Firstly greek salad has to be my favorite type of salad. Feta cheese, redwine vinegar, kalamata olives, tomatos, green pepper, pepperoccini, oregano, yum yum! The second thing I would like to say is that the best salad dressing is a recipie I've been making for a while. Olive oil, tarragon vineegar, garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper, and oregano shaken in a mason jar. It is so good on sanwiches too.

I love salads too and my favorite has to be a spinach salad with bacon, red onions, mushrooms and croutons. I also love 7 layer salad, the kind that has peas, onions, cheese, boiled eggs, onions etc. I get that kind a lot from the deli here in town and I love their dressing although Im fairly sure it's not much more than Miracle Whip. A big Caesar salad is always good too! I think most anything with red onions, bacon and cheese is ok with me.

am not crazy for vegetables but am also from the philippines and usually when you say salad here it is not that healthy. like our version of your mac and cheese. here we have macaroni salad or chicken salad that uses lots of mayonnaise. we have the fruit salad, that even though uses plants' produce, still requires condensed milk and cream. so, do i eat salad? yes, if it is available. and my favorites are the ones i mentioned .

I'm not sure about the name but the ingredients are spinach leaves, cherry tomatoes, garlic, balsamic vinegar, and mozzarella cheese. It is very simple and extremely tasty.I actually rarely eat salads and I think people find that weired since I'm a vegetarian but I enjoy variety and to cook. However, if I need something quick then the above detailed salad is what I prepare for myself.

There are differnt that are eaten in different seasons. Like in summers lots of cucumbers with onions, green chillies , lemon and tomatos. In winters we have onions with vinegar but then are added redish and cabbage as well. when there is a party or something we use salad with macroni, apples, potatos and cream, sometimes with green peas as well. Not to forget the yougrat with some spices or simple one to go with it

My favorite one is one I make myself with left over chicken. I make a homemade Italian dressing. Then I put some shredded left over chicken on the lettuce pour on the dressing and just a little bit of shredded cheddar cheese then I mix it all up. It is really tasty, I know the cheese is a bit fattening but it adds a little calcium and a little goes a long way. It is very yummy.

Well they are all pretty much good but I do have a couple of favorite kinds of salads. One of my favorites would be the Chicken Ceaser Salad and I like it with crispy chicken in it. I prefer spinach over lettuce with onions and peppers and a bunch of vegetables. The restaurant I work at makes some pretty good salads. Another favorite one that they make is a Shrimp and Spinach Salad. It has sunflower seeds, shrimp, spinach, cheese, hard boiled egg slices, and a hot bacon dressing that is amazing. It's one of my favorite kinds of salads for sure. I miss it though because it's only seasonal when they serve it.

I love dry fruit salad as it contains all dry fruits and tropical fruits cut into small pieces mixed with custard and fresh cream on the top. I take at least once in a week. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2010 and don't forget to see my new discussion in a topic called cook as i have already posted preparation of Pasta with Crispy Chicken.
