Hello Mylotters and think this discussion suits everyone of us over here, well how do you get on with our life daily, is it planned or just keep on happening as it goes.Means do you plan the schedule for the daytoday activities, or simply perform activities as they come by giving them priority, etc stuff.Myself am not an good planner so mostly my daily routine is much varying in nature. But yes sometimes when there are tradition days, often do have an fixed routine to follow through out the day.Well i even think it will be tough for me to follow an fixed routine on daily basis, as i like to have change each and everytime. It refreshes me, am happy with my daily varying routine.
Do you have an daily fixed routine?
or
Have an varying routine?

For the most part my daily routine is pretty much fixed. There are those days when I vary the routine, but, that doesn't happen very often. For example, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are both very different for me, as they are every year. I don't have the best life in the world, but, I'm doing okay.
Happy New Year!

Hello kellyjeanne good to know that you do follow an fixed routine most of the time and rarly have an varying routine.Well its hard on us, but also good for us, in our expertise, skills, and health, and fitness. But yes there must be a few varying routine in our life as it refreshes our mind and relieves us from the stress generated by the fixed routine through out the year.Well wish you luck in your varying routines, Happy mylotting.

Thanks checkmail. I do agree that we do need to get away from the daily routine to refresh ourselves so we can keep going.
You have a great year!

My day can vary but it all depends. I have the same work schedule so that does not vary, but other things might like whether we go to the store on one day or wait until another day, etc. I think it's good to have a bit of a varying routine but that we need to have some things that are static and do not change, such as work. Work can be tedious but if we know our schedules it helps a great deal.
I hope you have a great day.

I agree with you on both of your points, we do need to have a bit of variety but it's very beneficial for us health wise and work ethic wise to have the same or very similar work schedule. Have a wonderful day!

Hello SomeCowgirl its cool to know about you, specially the fixed routine and the varying routine as well.Well i agree with your thoughts, its always better to have some fixed routine in our life to make some better.Well the fixed schedule in our works improves our skills and also benefit our health in certain ways.Even the varying routine do have an effect on us, it refreshes us inbetween the fixed routine of ours.So both are to be follow but alternately.Happy mylotting.

My routine is usually pretty set. I usually have to be at work at about the same time everyday, and I usually get off at about the same time in the afternoons. I don't really have much of a social life, so I usually just come home and get ready to do it all over again the next day. This routine usually gets pretty old, however, and I am to the point in life that I am getting ready for a change. Then again, it is pretty nice to know what I have to do every day. This way, I only have to concentrate on going out and doing it...

Hello goldeneagle and think that your routine is much of fixed and less varying in nature. As you are normally having an fixed routine of office and at home, but do have some change inbetween, it definitely will be refreshing for you.Its good to follow an fixed routine, as it improves our expertise in our work as well as beneficial to our health.Nice way to go, keep it up, Happy mylotting.

hi checkmail I do not know whether or not you are familiar with
a retirement center but here at Gold crest we have to get up at six am,ugh and double ugh, in order to be at the dining room at 7 am while the servers do not really start serving til 730 at least then we have lunch at 11 am and dinner at 4 p.m , a cockeyed schedule but its theirs so we all follow it albeit reluctantly . so no I have not much say over meals unless I just want to skip one but other than that our time is pretty much our own. we have some activities but most have been cut em]off as the garden grove school system furnishes them a nd the state has again cut their budget so us older people naturally are the first to lose our activities, here in the U S a lot of younger and middle aged even dont think much of us older people. guess they forgot we gave birth to them in the first place. anyway when I was in our own apartment I went to bed at midnight and rose at nine am and lunched at 1pm and had dinner at 6 or 7 in the evening instead of the hours we have here. My schedule varied a lot as I was retired.[thumbup[/em]

Hello Hatley and am very sorry for the misunderstanding between the generation in US, and do hope it could get solved easily. As its the nature that one is the suppport of another, and that can't be false.Well in routines its good to have an fixed routines, as it benefits us by expertise and some health gains to us.But varying routine also does hold some good for us, as its refreshing to us in our fixed routine boring life.Anyways enjjoy your routine and also health, keep up with mylot, here everybody respects each other and also do care for one another. Happy mylotting.

Hi, checkmail. My daily routine is fixed during the weekdays. And it can vary doing the weekends. I am more busier during the weekdays than I am during the weekends. My son is in school and I have to devote time with him so that he can do his homework. On the weekends I will just go with flow, since I have a little more free time.

Hi checkmail, I am starting my new job from the first of january i.e. the beginning of the new year! I am very excited about it. Now I am at home and am enjoying the holidays before the routine begins though I am looking forward to that also! Throughout the day I do knitting, go for long walks, do mylotting and read books. All this takes up my time, however except for walks I do not have a fixed routine because I do what pleases me and when I want and I'm quite happy with the way it is!!

Hi check!
I have almost fixed routine for the five days of the week, beginning Monday to Friday, which happen to be working days for me. However, on Saturdays and Sundays I follow a different routine because these are off days for me. I get up a bit late and do things leisurely and enjoy my holidays.

My routine depends on the time of the year..festivals and special occassions..which are in plenty in India as you know...and with each program or function or celebration my routine changes...i have to get more indulged in kitchen at such times..eg. tomorrow is my son's b'day..i was busy preparing sweet dish for him and his friends for tomorrow's celebration...so i cant be online as regular days..mostly when there are no special days..there are children's exams...so lot of variations in routine..can't be free of stress...

I just go on with what ever seems to happen that day. Even if I tried to keep a schedule I don't think I could stick with it I am not an organized person. If I have to go to doctor or dentist I will remind myself and put it on the fridge or something. So no I don't keep a schedule I just couldn't do it. I usually just get up and whatever happens that day happens and hopefully it will be a good day everyday! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
