Where do I put it all?

This photo shows the fenced area near my back porch with snow stacked half way up the 6 foot fence. You can see the porch cement right by the edge of the pile. Each year when we get a lot of snow the piles get too high. Then I have to use a shovel and move them elswhere which is a lot of hard physical work. The same happens alongside my driveway as the area is small that abuts the neighbors. Some spots on the opposite side have snow stacked a few feet up the side of my house. I love snow, but I hate the work moving it etc. Do you shovel snow or use a snowblower? I use both but mostly the snowblower. It got a workout today so far.

We got a heck of a pile building up out here too. Andy will usually move it as well before it gets to high. We dont have the luxury of a snowblower.

It looks like you guys get a lot more snow than we get here. I never have to move the snow else where. I never shovel the snow in the back yard and it near even reaches the top of the fence. I just shovel my walk way, and that is it.

I shovel if I have to, but I have not had to this year, or when it was needed I was not home. Cannot get hubby to make it a priority. We only have shovels, no snow blower.

We don't get snow in feet around these here parts (*sput*...Ting!) if you didn't have a snow blower, did you hear of a gizmo called the "Wovel"? Look it up..seems like a good idea...
Happy New Year!

Hi GRANDPA BOB,
Thats a lovey pile of snow there, lol, but I couldn't tell you where you can put it, in a garage?

Okay, in the garage.
Now where do I park the car?
There's no street parking allowed near my house at all ever.

I shovel. I don't have a snowblower so I stick to the manual labor. We don't get a lot of snow, but when we do, I make sure I shovel it regularly. Every time it reaches 3 to 5 inches.
I made a mistake of letting it stay on the garage a few years ago and letting the car drive through it. Of course I slipped and I hit my head.

I do the same thing even using the snowblower.
I hate seeing the snow pile up on the driveway
so I do it a little each time.

i use both, but the snowblower was acting up on the last storm.
i hate moving it too..we have a couple of places we stack the excess at.
we had to re-dig the driveway out thanks to the city plow guy that seems to think it's funny burying sidewalks again.
