Would you buy an ebook...

With the same information (but much more detailed, accurate, organized, and easy to read) that you could find on the internet? For example, there are many blogs and websites about making money online. But they are a progressive resource, changing and growing as time went on. So what if all that information was in an ebook? Continuing the example, if a blog has a list of PTC sites and explains what they are, how to get paid, etc and a ebook does the same, would you buy the ebook? Before you answer, consider that the ebook would be full of legit and paying sites (like myLot and Neobux) and would not falter as much as a blog. It would also have more time devoted to it than a regular blog used to gain referrals. It would also be organized with a table of contents and could be read offline. So I ask you the question again, would you buy an ebook with the same information you could find online for free?

nope, not if i could find the information for free. However i have often thought about writing some ebooks of my own and selling them online. A way to make money selling online without all the hassle of postage and packaging and what not. But then again, ebooks can be very very cheap you would barely notice difference in your paypal account or however you would pay. And how would you know the information written is something to be trusted, how do you know who has written it and for what purpose :)

Well if the author reveals that information on a blog or site just for his or her ebooks, then it would make things less scary. I have thought about writing ebooks also but have yet to find a good topic. If you want software to help create your ebook, I have one that I can sell you. PM me if you are interested.

I liked a clutter clearing website and it offered two really great e books. So therefore I bought them. I quite liked reading them and doing the activities. I think some e books are worth buying. I do prefer to read a normal paperback or hardback book.

Interesting how you bought those ebooks. Too bad I don't have a good "cluttered" website that I can turn into an ebook. Do you mind sharing what ebooks you bought?

Hi, snam23. Great Discussion! I am planning on buying something online that I can get for free. I want to buy it because, the information lists legitimate websites that will pay me. If I get it for free, chances are it may be a scam. I would rather pay for information when I know that in the long run it will save me from losing my valuable time and effort. Because once you put all of your time into working for scams, you could have paid money for something that is legitimate.

Thanks! I'm glad to see someone said yes to the question at hand. I am planning to write and sell an ebook containing some ways to earn money online. I thought I check if there were any potential customers before spending my time and effort into something that could become outdated quickly.

No, I wouldn't, just because I think ebooks are not good. It is not good for the eyes to read an ebook!

Never! Why i waste the money buying them? I can just download most of scanned PDFs which i interested in and then browse them by Adobe or Foxit. I think it's nothing different with reading a real paper book. Maybe it will bad for your eyesights, yeah, quite right. But to me, it's doesnit matter. I've read ebooks for several years and never wear the glasses. I even don't know how much is it. Lucky enough

"Why waste money buying them?" As stated in the discussion "With the same information (but much more detailed, accurate, organized, and easy to read) that you could find on the internet." Because of the reasons above.

I have not purchased a ebook till today. Who knows, what will happen in future. If the book is interesting and if it is useful, may be, I might be tempted. I do not think I will buy any fiction. I might buy a ebook, if it is on self improvement or some thing like that.Of course, if it is available in online for free, I may not buy it.

I don’t have much money to spare for things like e-books so at this time I would probably make an attempt to find the information free first. It is no to say that I wouldn’t purchase an e book at another time. I can certainly appreciate the value of an indexed book with detailed and correct information but it is too tempting to try to obtain it for free!

I dont think so. there are really tons of free information out there which are also easy to verify for free. i dont wanna be a victim of scams and those types of products are rarely true. if i would ever have to buy any of such, it would take me a lot of research first regarding its legitimacy before i finally decide to buy it..
