It was Christmas Eve night and we were just getting home from my grandma's house after exchanging gifts with them. As a rule we get to open one present on Christmas Eve. We were downstairs sitting in front of the tree and I was looking at all my presents trying to decide which one to open. Usually my mother tries to get us to open the one with the pajamas in it. This year, I was determined not to open clothes. Im looking thru the gifts, trying to decide which one and my mom says that I should open this big box. Mind you the box was like a big coat box so I immediately began to object thinking that it was a bathrobe or coat. I begged and pleaded not to have to open this particular present. I wasnt being very grateful. Anyways I finally gave in and opened the big coat box. I knew it had to be clothes. Imagine my surprise when I opened this huge 3 foot by 2 foot box and it was filled to the very rim with hundreds of barbie clothes, dolls, shoes, etc. You name it, it was in there. My mom told me years later that she had been making that box for about six months. Buying the stuff when it was on sale. She must have spent a small fortune. From that day on I never acted badly on Christmas. I dont think I will ever forget my behavior. After I opened it, I was hugging my mom. All she said was "You never know" That was my best memory of Christmas ever! Tell me your favorite memory. dl

My memory of Christmas was when we were young. My father was always invited to drink every Christmas before that is why our Christmas when we were young were not enjoyable as other family's Christmas. My parents always lead to arguments after eating because my father was always drunk. This one christmas we have we really enjoyed it because my father was not drunk. The reason was he changed his route going home. Mostly when he goes home during Christmas eve there were lots of drinkers on the street and he was always invited to drink with them. Being a drinker he can't avoid it. that christmas he changed his route, instead of using our front door, he went to our back window and he went inside our house using it. We were shocked to see him climbing the window holding our gifts and foods, he even had a gift biten by his teeth just to bring it all out at home. We all ended up with laughter after helping him to get in the house. That was the most silent Christmas we had.

hi dloveli my favorite memory was my mom and dad, and little sister and myself coming back home the night before Christmas
with last minutes gifts we had bought and a huge double carton
of eggs. Someone drove past us with their lights on high beam.blinded my dad so he lost control of the car and we
banged into the other car. nobody was hurt but the eggs, oh my
eggyolks all over the floor of the back seat my mom cleaned it
all up and we had only lost three eggs.we were all okay and the people who actually caused the accident gave my dad a dozen eggs from their own groceries. we went on home, and the house was so cozy and warm. my sis and i hung our stockings up for Santa. we had a delicious late supper. My mom made the most delicious scrambled eggs with bits of bacon and onion in them, moist and so good, hot cocoa with lemon meringue pie and vanilla ice cream or mince meat pie with ice c ream. what a feast and i was maybe 13 or 14 at the time.

Mine is really not my favorite but it was the most unforgettable Christmas i had.
Dec 24, i had the pulse to traveled 3 hours just to reach my boyfriend in their home.
Upon coming down in their house,i thought it was a white Christmas at all, Her mother was very hospitable to me while he is still coming from nearby house. What attracts me most was the photo album i saw and open each pages seeing him with another woman, posing so much sweetness.
Right after he arrived, i bid him goodbye, he ferried me to bus stop and while waiting for bus we sat beside each other and He ask me stay and spend Christmas eve with him. Adding he felt pretty on me. I finally say goodbye and ride in the bus. I wasn't stop of going home behind standing inside the bus for long hour travel for it was passengers peak.
Exactly, when the bus move on, i started crying, many passenger saw me sobbing, But i cant stop myself and they all watch me.
I didn't go home to my parents house, i stayed in my boarding house and cry up to the next day. Very painful and unforgettable, But thanks to God i have moved on now and live a happy life top the fullest by the grace of God.

My husband and I made a pretty awsome memory this year when we went to Toronto for Christmas. We decided to just get away from everyone and everything, and just celebrate on our own. It was a really great time, and one of those things that we will remember forever. It was great!
