England had a good capital to become world champion next year. Because there are six great players who fester in the Three Lions team. Large amount and no other country possessed.
Three of them are Lampard, Terry and Ashley Cole
The next Rio Ferdinand is currently entering kuarng times good. But he remains a tough defender. "Then there was last Gerrard and Rooney,"Because of the six names, two names so far looks quite frequently harassed Ferdinand and the injured Gerrard. Capello certainly did not expect the list of "patients" were getting ahead of departure to South Africa next six months. what do you think about? is england still have a chance in world cup next year??

I think england has the chance to win the world cup this time if spain gets knocked out somehow. England has got a strong team but has injury worries on the other hand spain players are good and ready to go...... I think spain will start as a favorite and not england...

I agree that England have a good side, but I do not feel they are serious contenders for the World Cup.To me they lack cohesiveness as a team and it would require a lot of effort for their stars to coordinate and play well together. On the other hand,I feel it is the African nations who are the dark horses.A lot of their players have exposure to European football and they do have the strength and stamina to match the best in the business.

Hey,
I dont give England a chance as i find english palyers are very overly hyped. They are perfect examples of empty vehicles make more noise and its even their Cricket team is like that only.
Also soccer world cup is something very bias, as if u check the stats no south american team except Brazil won a world cup in the european soil. SO going by those stats, I wont be surprised if Nigeria or another African team wins the World cup this time around.
IAm a die hard fan of Argentina, and they r the most deserving team to win the WC.
Cheers,
Tutul

English teams will never short the stock of the world's best players. Don Cappelo, as coach of English, has many options for talented young players to play in the World Cup finals in June 2010. they will get the chance to play in doubt replace players will miss the next World Cup. this event as evidence for Aaron Lennon, Micah Richard and the other young generation the Three Lions to win the title. that the desire by the British public highway. ...ENGLAND...ENGLAND...ENGLAND ....

England does have a good team, but the stage fright is what might hamper them. In the big matches, the really crucial ones they have the habit of coming unstuck. Be it Portugal in the last world cup or even the Euro qualifiers against Croatia, England was the better team on paper, but contrived to loose.
I still feel that the drive that South American teams have for the world cup is sadly missing in English teams!! From Europe that drive seems to be only in German and Italian sides.
Cheers!

When the England team play well together, they are virtually unbeatable - look what they did to Croatia, not once, but twice. I think Capello has instilled the discipline into the team for them to do well, but of course, injuries and suspensions may alter things.
They certainly have a strong squad, and, as an Englishwoman, I'll be rooting for them in South Africa. Last time England won the World Cup, we were on holiday in Spain, and now we live in Spain, so hopefully, it's a good omen!
