Rock, Hip Hop, RnB, Metal, Classical... sounds of the old and new generation. What's your choice of music? For me it's how the song relates to me and sometimes the catchy beats and tones of the song makes it my favorite. How bout you? are you one of those narrow minded that discriminates and rejects other peoples music or are you one of those open minded that appreciates other peoples music?

I myself am 'eclectic'. In otherwords I'll listen to anything and everything. My itunes list ranges from 70's/80's rock, to 90's dance. in the last 5-6 years though I've branched out to heavy music. I still love old school rock and ministry of sound, but now my preferences are more heavy metal and hardcore rock. Stuff like pantera, throwdown, chimaira... all fantastic bands!

pantera rocks! but that crazy man who took Mr. Dimebag Darrell off the scene should be thrown in hell. He's a legend. May he rest in peace.

Very true, if it weren't for bands like queen and nirvana then metal might not have come out as strong as it is today. Your probably thinking but they aren't metal... Aren't they? Nirvana was my stepping stone to metal, and queen was my stepping stone to guitar shredding. They may not BE metal, but all in all a lot of bands have influenced metal bands all over the place!

Hi, thanks for the response. I listen to other peoples music, whether it's oldies or new. I can adapt to it when it really sounds good for me.Don't you ever experienced not liking the song at first but when you hear it from other people who likes it, that's when the time you feel that you kinda like that song in some way. =p

Yeah! You're right there. some artists just make a remake of a song just to be popular. the song was already popular I think it's just their way of making money out of the masses. but i do like some of covered songs. like the one from "the cure" that 311 covered love song. I really like their version. And in fact that's one of my favorite song.

i can't really choose what's my favourite type of music! but i mainly prefer rock and hip-hop...but the song also has to have really good lyrics to get my attention. i don't really care what type of music people listen to...i doesn't really matter does it?

Hi pee to toy: I love music in general But my favorite genre is pop music and Alternative Rock- britpop, bands such as Coldplay, Keane, Thirteen Senses and Starsailor. Actually my ID was created after Starsailor, my favorite band. I love starsailor, so, i am Starsailover. But in general, if i like the music as you said, i'd love it no matter what's the genre. Thanks for asking me this question. Hope you are having a nice day. Merry Christmas/ Happy holidays. Take care. -Alvaro.
