Or should I be asking you if you have decided on a setting for christmas. For me personally as is the case for many people it would be curried goat ,rice and peas, vegetables and hopefully sorell drink .For others here they would probably go for the traditional rice and peas and chicken but then they may have some ham as a side dish along with our sorrel and some christmas pudding . That is how we do it here on the island what about you on your side of the world?

In the U.S.A. we have either turkey or ham. This year we are having ham and some sides.

In the UK, the traditional Christmas meal is a roast dinner, with turkey as the meat. It's usually accompanied by roast potates, yorkshire puddings, stuffing and an arrangement of vegetables. Usually sprouts, though the vast majority of people don't like them! I would eat something like this, though with a vegetarian alternative to the turkey. I've never heard of people eating goat before, how interesting it is that different countries do so many different things.

Well here we had ham, turkey, brown beans, dressing, gravy, green beans, potatoes, just a variety of things, plus cakes and pies. Too much food as usual, but its always like that around here..lol.

Here in Australia we have the traditional ham or turkey, my favourite is turkey with apple and cranberry stuffing, yum! Delicious with roast vegetables and potatoes! There is nothing that spells Christmas as a typical dinner or lunch. It’s generally quite hot here at this time of year but it doesn’t deter us from enjoying a nice roast meal! Dessert is almost always plumb pudding and cream.
