Do you wear contact lens?

Hi, alexfeile318. Yes, in the past years I used to wear contact lenses. I have not worn them in 10 years as of now. I do plan to start back wearing them. I may start this year. My eyes tend to get very dry when I will wear contact lenses. That is why I will have to choose the correct contact lenses that keeps my eyes from becoming very dry. I plan to try the Acuvue Oasis brand. This should help with my lenses getting dried all of the time. My eyes would get red too. There is nothing wrong with my eyes, it is just the dust and pollution that interferes with my eyes when I am wearing contact lenses. Right now, I just wear glasses and that is all.

Really? you know what I am planning to wear contacts instead of prescribed glasses but it seems everyone who wears it has the same problem. Getting eye-redness and irritations. I really looked like a "bee" with my glasses on...hahaha! I'm still wanting to get contacts, maybe a colored one.lolz

No, not now but I am planning to get one but the doctor told me not to use it as he said that spects are better than these lens. I am using spects but the problem with it is that I am one of the very few people who wear spects in my area and so I feel sometimes a bit awkward.

I am near-sighted. However, I prefer to wear the normal glasses rather than contact lens. I am a little afraid to wear contact lens. As they are just contacted eyes and I am nervous to remove them. I love China

yes,I have the same problem just like you,so I suggest you to wear the lens no more than 8 hours a day.in addition ,you can prepare a pair of glasses as well,you can put on the glasses when you are off work,It's good for your eyes to wear glasses one or two days a week,that can slow down the damage of your cornea.

You sound just a bit like me. I have eyeglasses, but I wear contacts for cosmetic purposes. My eyes don't turn red when I wear contacts, but there is a little irritation. There was a period of time when I didn't wear contacts because I couldn't afford an optometrist appointment. When I started wearing contacts again, this time using a brand with 2 weeks' wear time instead of a month or 2, I noticed a small scratch in my right eye. It wasn't that big, but I was still scared of infection so I went to the emergency room. I was told to see the optometrist again, and I would learn that it was nothing to worry about. I wish he didn't charge me for this 2nd visit. At least, insurance paid for my emergency room visit.

I wear glasses and have to wear them all the time. No I do not wear contact lenses they told me I could not wear them because my perscription is very strong.
