can a nokia cellphone be blocked if stolen??plss...i need an immediate respond..

My cousin cell was stolen...and i feel so bad about it since she was supposed to go and celebrate christmas with us.So i want to ask if a nokia cellphone can be blocked so it cannot be use.(I just can't find info on the net, the info's about blocking your cell are to detailed to understand i think..)

SOME CELLPHONE CAN BE BLOCKED! BUT YOU MUST SETING IT BEFORE THAT! E.G: BY MESSAGE WITH SOME SEcret words.

well...i'm totally confused maybe b'coz I change my phone base on the series and brand...(and price...hehheh), but i wish it can be blocked..

hi. far as i know you can't block a phone from being used. my father actually has a phone sent by my sister in the US and he can use it hear in the Philippines. i do know the service providers can block postpaid lines. hope this helps. :)
