Merry Christmas everyone! It's that wonderful day again where we celebrate this wonderful holiday in our own special ways. It's a time of family, friendship and fun, and a time of remembrance. Yesterday we got together with my wife's family and one of the traditions that we have there is that my wife reads the story of Jesus' birth before we open presents and then we had a prayer thanking God for this special time of year and what it means to us and our families. It was such a special time because it was my son's first Christmas and we're continuing the tradition with him being involved! Today, my wife, son and I will have our own little special time together as a family and later on, we are getting together with more of my wife's family. Due to the fact that several of my family members are emergency personnel and have to work today, my family is not getting together until tomorrow to celebrate Christmas. But the day we celebrate isn't as important as being together with family and remembering the true meaning and purpose of Christmas. What are some of the Christmas traditions you and your family have that are special to you?

Merry Christmas to you too!
My Christmas tradition is too have a party exactly on Christmas Eve. The whole family comes, and we party until midnight. At midnight, we open our presents.

That sounds like quite an awesome party! My wife and I have family members spread all over the place so that makes it really hard for us all to be together at one time during the Christmas holiday. We do normally get to see everyone for Christmas though, just at different times. I like your tradition!

Some of my (wanna be) Christmas traditions are these
shoveling snow onto neighbor's driveways
ordering a extra medium pizza from Subway
trying to make a vegetarian sandwich with extra meat (epic fail)
sending spam emails labeled "Merry Christmas" to random people
winning games of connect 4 in only 3 moves (im that good)

Is that some kind of joke or something? None of those things make any sense whatsoever!

Traditions uhm... all we do is just eat together at Christmas eve and the day itself... If we have so spare money we will try to go to our relatives house to visit them and sometimes when our relative will come also and visit us and we will go to a certain relative of ours also to visit them... ^^

Merry Christmas to you. Our family doesnt have any special tradition. We just have some food to eat and sometimes we dont even wake up at the Christmas eve, we just wake up in the morning then celebrate from then. But this christmas, I spend it on my girlfriend's family and they have a different tradition. They conducted an exchange gift at christmas eve and eat afterwards..Happy that I didn't get a towel =p..What I got was a portable storage box =)

Chrismas is really present in our hearts. We celebrate to the fullest we can have.
In our family, it is also our tradition to have reunions and these bonding will give all of us the sense of belonging and good attachment. Also, the time to patch those who have misunderstandings.
We gather and prepare different specialty foods, from the appetizers to main course meal and deserts to.
After that, we give our gifts and have many discussion and games for the kids to enjoy.
And every family have a dance or song preparation. It is so exciting for each one of us.
With this, we manage to have a closed family ties. Communication is very important to us.
all of these and even not holiday season, as long we have gatherings, are very important to me and my family.
ADvance HAPPY NEW YEAR and GOD BLESS TO ALL..
