Yes this song and video is Christmas related but it really doesn't have to be for Christmas but anytime of the year. So many of us are going through hard times and may be depressed and questioning our happiness in life. You might be questioning the purpose in life......why are we here? Why are we having the problems in life? You might be thinking.....I'm a basically good person..why am I going through this?
Well some years ago I came across the Christmas movie The Polar Express and in it is this fantastic song by Josh Groban that is more or less the theme song of the movie called simply "Believe"-----I have this movie on DVD and don't know why but the song brings tears to my eyes......maybe I think of my own frustrations, my dreams that haven't come true yet, my desires, my inner happiness that aren't completely there yet.......and then I hear this song......"Believe" Isn't that what life is all about? No matter what pain, frustrations, setbacks we've gone through, we still have to BELIEVE somehow....somehow things will work out.
So want to share this video with you -------and BELIEVE---- believe that no matter what pain, suffering, hard times you may be going through....it will pass--JUST BELIEVE

That is a beautiful song. I sent it along to several online freinds for them to enjoy as well. Inner happiness is very important. We have to find a level of happiness. I don't think we can ever be totally happy. It is something we strive for and find in small amounts here and there along our way. It is just the way it is.

Hi Pye and Merry Christmas!
Polar Express is my favorite movie since it came out. I just love it but not everybody does. I think you have to have that childlike feeling in you to understand it if you know what I mean, and the song is beautiful. They just actually played it on the radio just a few minutes ago, and it just sets a certain feeling deep down within me.
My youngest daughter knows I love the movie so she had me come over last week to spend a Christmas night together, made a delicious dinner, and she ended up buying the movie for that night so watched it together. Such a simple thing to do but meant so much to me. I have two great daughters which help me get through the holdiay season, thank goodness.
I don't ususally talk about all my problems on myLot, maybe I should sometime and get them out in the open but its very hard for me. Anyway, Merry Christmas and lets hope for a peaceful New Year for everyone....xxx...Bobbie

I know, Polar Express is one of those movies you either love or hate, but I love it and believe me there's nothing wrong with having a child-like quality. That was so sweet that you got to spend a really great time with your daughter and share that movie together like that.

We loved that movie, pye, and your right, I know the song you are speaking of. Reduced my daughter and I to tears when we finally watched the movie. It's ok to feel pain during the season but it's not good to hold it in and suffer silently when you have friends and family to rally around ya.
Hey! I thought you went to bed...

Well what the heck are you still doing up lady? Just very restless I guess on my part. Hey about crying at movies or songs....I'm a real sap.....I'll cry at almost most movies that strike a cord in me. No I don't suffer in silence..I can be very vocal at times **coughs** like my call to you....LOL But yes I still have a lot of inner pain and crap I'm dealing with as I'm still trying to put the past behind me which is new to me and sometimes just need to be on my own and figure the crap out myself--I have the brains to do it....just HOW?

I'm just not really that tired. I'm still coherent and the proof is in the discussions I've responded to already. I made sense! Imagine that! I know you got your inner demons..we all do in some shape or form. Some are easier to deal with than others. Why do we have to get the harder ones?

Hi Pye! We have the movie and it is truly lovely; my daughter loves it. This song is beautiful and the lyrics so apt. Yes dreams can come true if we believe that the Universe only has the best in store for us. The dreams may not be what we imagine them to be sometimes but when they arrive they bring so much joy and they make our lives worthwhile. I adore Josh Groban, thank you for sharing this; I will save it and listen to it again. Hope your Christmas was wonderful!

I hope you had a good Christmas too...mine was nice and peaceful and relaxing. Yes, Josh Groban has a wonderful voice and that song really suits him to sing it--there's a duet version video of it with him and Beyonce singing it together and while nice just didn't have the same impact as him singing it solo.

Beautiful song, thank you. Josh Groban is an amazing singer with many great songs including my personal favorite "Don't Give up" which is the one I have on my profile in Mylot. Have not seen Polar Express yet, so now will have to rent it.
Merry Christmas to you and wishing you a very Happy New Year.

what I have been through this past year and three months, I find I do still believe, one day soon our problems will turn around and that will be a day I do the happy dance, dont remember if that was you or another fellow mylotter, but she always met the happy times with what she called the happy dance, and that does paint a great picture in my mind so yes with tears in my eyes I am now believing this too will pass. thanks Pye.

Yes I've seen that movie, and I heard that song, we need to believe, that no matter what we're going through we have to believe that it will get better, it can't get any worse, things do have to get better.

I like this song, I haven't seen the movie all the way through, we own it but I put it on for the kids and they watch it while I take care of other things, I do it to keep them busy but I know the song you are talking about. Thank you for adding this, I think a lot of people would need to hear this.
