Some people get highly offended when i say that Henry presence is no longer needed in Barcelona but this is through as age is no longer on his side, if we can remember is days in Arsenal when he use to run like Usain Bolt and the skills i can compare with the great Zidane but all these are no more today. I will be happy if this man can give the little boys the chance to show there talent as seen in the Lucky Pedro and Vibrant Jeffrin. So friend what is your stand on this issue?

I think the other thing about Henry is that the hand of god incident has lost him a lot of his credibility and good will. I think people will talk more about this incident post his career than the wonderful goals that he used to create and score during his Arsenal days. But he was always a spent force when he joined Barcelona and though he fulfilled his dream of lifting the Champions League with Barcelona, he has been a peripheral figure in the team and I think he is probably nearing that point in his career when he is contemplating retirement.
Cheers!

When I first heard of Henry's coming to Barcelona, I didn't agree with this move, as he is long out of his best shape, that you mention here, when he was on top of the world at Arsenal. However, Henry played some good games for Barcelona and proved useful for the club. I also believe that some fresh blood in the attack line would be a good idea.
In the end, it's the coach that has the final decision. I've never ever liked Ibrahimovici's style either, but that doesn't mean he's not a good player...

yes you are right that the coach has the final say, he select the player he want in his team and another thing is that he has all the trophy a player will ever wanted to receive in his career.
As for ibrahimovic, i like the style of play because he always disturb the defense every time he is on the pitch and i believe that can lead to goal by any of his team mate.

Considering the success already achieved by Henry in his entire career, I think he is in the best club right now to offer his services...I dont agree with the fact tht Henry's presence is not needed in Barca...infact its his presence that creates attack constantly alongwith worldclass touches of messi iniesta xavi ibra bojan and alves.....His experience matters a lot and we must not expect Henry to score as frequently as he used to in his arsenal days...In his first season(19gols) and then scorin 20 odd goals in next at this point in his career speaks in itself!Guys Henry is and has always been a match winner...Its just that in a team like Barcelona, individual achievements dont matter much; its the team game play that comes first....and Henry is very well adding his share to it..I think Guardiola is using him quite well giving youngsters like Bojan and Pedro chances too in bween....
For Henry---Thnks Henry &keep continuing!!!

Seriously..It seems that the presence of Henry is not needed of Barca. He has ot played a single match for a long tome now . Obviously they have messi and Ibra, so y would they need him ? . But if I was the manager I would definitely put him in a squad as his finishing is always perfect , atleast better than Ibra . Anyways , I think Barca is going to sell Henry sooner or later . I would love if he returns to Arsenal as I am an Arsenal fan !

Well, he had already changed of team. Now he´s playing in New York Red Bull. He was a great player when he played in Arsenal, in Barcelona he didn´t play so confortable.

Hi to all...... To be honest, this is a tough topic to discuss....... There are a lot of fans who like Thierry Henry and there are others who do not like Henry especially after the handball incident in the World Cup qualifiers..... I think Henry is still a great player even though he is not playing well..... I partially accept with what tunexzy said...... There are lot of young bloods in the Barca team like Pedro and Jeffren.... Pedro has already been a great success-the only player to score in all six competitions in one season.... I am sure Guardiola will give everybody a chance in the eleven...... What i feel is Guardiola must start Henry and Pedro in the starting 11 in alternative games with Ibrahimovic and Messi as regulars....
HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!!!!!!
HAPPY MYLOTTING!!!!!!!!!

I partially agree with this point. I'm a great fan of henry and yeah he has lost his touch but it doesn't mean that he is worst. To quote something to tunexzy.. Henry was the top scorer for Barcelona in the 2007-2008 season with 19 goals to his credit. And the next yeah the trios messi, etoo and henry together produced a century goals in the la liga that lead barcelona to their title. So i still feel there is something left in him for a yeah...
