O.K. I know most people are always asked the question What do you want to do with your life? Do you really know what you want to do with your'e life? And do you ansewr the question right away or do you have to think about it? Me I could answer a million things that I want to do in my life. How about you?

Greetings jahernandezrivas ,
Simply put, whatever God wants me to do. I'll elaborate more in a moment, but per the Holy Bible, and from what I understand of Hebrew usage, we do not really own anything-- it is entrusted to us by God. So that is the attitude I take.
What I sense though is, as a minister (which I was called to be) it is to write. I think I have some ideas from Him that will hopefully help others. And I do currently write small articles on the Internet to help others. But in my mind I have 3 or 4 books I would like to write, if God so permits. One for marriage, another about the history of Christians, another on the subordination of Christ but written in terms the average person can understand, and perhaps something on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Do you really think if you are hurting financially and you pray to God for help among other things he will answer our prayer's? The reason I asked is because I am having such a hard time lately with enployment I didn't get paid my last check from previous job so I started a new one and hurt my knee on the job right before Christmas and got fired from that one among other financial issues not not mention but I was feeling so down so I stopped at my church that I haven't been to in a while went in the prayer room broke down and cried and prayed for forgiveness and help. As soon as I got home that day I got an e-mail to a job I really have been waiting for and really would love to work there. Then I got a call from the staffing place and was told to take the test as soon as they send it and the job would start Jan 18th, I was so happy but a little let down because of the start date. So what I am asking you is do you think God answered my prayer and is it going to take time?

In response to your first question I would say He would answer if we pray properly and answer according to His sovereign will. That does not mean though he would immediately provide anything.
In response to your last question, yes He answered, and yes it might take time.
The purpose in all this, though not always pleasant for us, is per James 1 and I think 1 Peter 1 or 2 is to build godly character which is more enduring than the present material things.
In regard to taking time, yes, just like it takes time to make a diamond. In fact, time and pressure.
I too have been fired--three times, the latest being around Christmas 2006 when I was a reporter for a local newspaper. Imo, I was fired from that because of "religious" reasons.
Will be praying for you.

I used to have a long list of dreams, goals and things I wanted for my life and I used to live in constant disappointment when my desires did not come to fruition. I have learnt now just to make health; wealth, happiness and most importantly love my goals, send them out to the Universe and watch them come back to me in whatever shape or form God sees fit at the perfect time. In my opinion there is no point wishing and praying for anything specific because God may have something better in store for us!

i do a lot of introspection on a regular basis and do ask myself what is that i really want to do in life. there are so many things no doubt .but on deeper thoughts i know many of them don't motivate me much.a few of them really are the driving force. i really want to prove myself worthy of this human life.to do as many good deeds as possible.

I want to be happy, healthy and have good luck. I have already achieved some of my dreams. When I was 19 years old I bought a house. At age 20 I traveled around the world. When I was in my mid twenties I went to university. I became a primary school teacher. I wanted to have children: a girl and a boy. I did even better than that. I have two boys and a girl. I still dream about publishing some books. My biggest dream is passing my practical driving test. I dream about doing lots more traveling and seeing all of the countries on my travel wish list.
