Neighbors Kindness

Our neighbor did this for us the other day. We don't have a snowblower anymore and we were sitting on several inches of snow. Plus my hubby was sick w/ a bad head cold and still has some of it & new symptoms since seeing the Dr on the 23rd. I was very thankful to see J out there snowblowing us out. As it would take me forever to shovel and I would have to wait til my son was napping as he gets cold too fast to try to do it on my own.

Well I must admit that I havent done any neighbourly kindness as of lately but I was the beneficiary of some neighbourly kindness recently when my neighbour gave me some peas that she had picked off her tree in her small back yard garden .Its still early days and i may het a chance to soon

Thats great... I have good neigbors too, sadly none of them have a snow blower. But then I don't have a driveway just the side walk, but it would still be nice to have that cleared. So far we have been lucky with the snow,I hope it stays that way thru the winter. you can keep the snow up your way.

hi Grandpa Bob well actually I live in this large retirement center and one neighbor to one side of my room will not talk to anyone. its said she was on the streets for a long time before she came here, but that would not stop me from being polite at least to talk to her but she refuses to acknowledge you when you do speak to her. I think the experience she went through has done something to her mind, poor lady. and the man on the other side is polite enough but he too will not converse. okay thats alright with me, I have some friends here who will talk to me so all is right until some way I can once more have a home of my own. I am used to neighbors who are friendly even if they never helped me at least do not make me feel embarrassed for just saying hello to you. my rant for the morning.

Hey Grandpa Bob! I think that is a great neighbor you've got there! And I'm quite sure that you would return the favor if he needed one! That's the way neighbors are supposed to be! Sadly, it's not always like that! I have some really great neighbors here where I live and some really bad ones! And the ones that are bad are really horrors! I try to help people our whenever I can, especially when we get hit with bad weather! You never know when you're going to be the one needing help!

Hi Grandpa Bob. The neighbor to the left is actually just a realtor I think trying to sell this house. The one on the right just moved in a couple of weeks ago, so I don't know what they're like yet. One neighbor a few houses down the road did give my son one of their old big stuffed toy dog. So in my books that was good enough for their kid to get a gift from our Santa!

That was very nice of your neighbor GrandPa Bob: The world needs more people like him in it for sure; Praise be for those types of machines too right? I wish we had those back when I was younger for the awful snow storms we had then; stay safe and stay warm up there in your crazy snowy state; (G)!!

Thats really kind of him helping you clean the place and all. I bet there are a few people lived so we must thank them and encourage them as well. We have a very big neigbourhood but they are never ever helpful at all.

Hello webeishere! I live on the 8th floor of an apartment. I carried many goods when I went to buy groceries, when I arrived, the two elevators were broken. So I need to climb up the stairs to reach my place. At the second floor, a 10 year old kid was playing ball. When he noticed me coming up, he just helped me carry some of the bags. He was indeed thoughtful. I know that his tiny arms were weary because the bag he held was also heavy. I never forgot that kid's kindness. Have a nice day everyone! Happy mylotting!
