IPL'S/20-20 impact............. dreadful......................

Guys ........... recently in a newspaper i read that 67% of all Australian r ready to quit national cricket to become freelancer to play in the lucretive IPL............. and other domestic 20-20 leagues.................... the same is case with most of the other crickting nations...............
players like Andrew Flintoff, shane bond, r qiutting international cricket to play in these leagues or just playing 20-20 ckt.....................
So tell me guys.............. though i know its been discussed time nd time again what's the cure of this problem?????? IS there any solution at all????? Haven't the cricekt governing bodies dug the grave for test cricket with there own hands??????

test cricket is now becoming history and players even the spectators are loving the 20-20 concept.
In the era where time holds the most important , 20-20 is the best option which saves time and gives more enjoyment to people.
Its true that test cricket and even one days are in danger but public request is the most important part of any successful thing.

I dont think that 20-20 does any harm . I think 20-20 cricket helps players to improve their skills and also we can see high run rates in test and one day cricket

yeah high run rates mean flatter pitches and not necessarily good batting.
if you have any dream to play for india as a fast bowler,do you think you can make an impact where you get only 24 balls to prove yourself not to discount the luck factor?
lets be more clear.people dont love T20.they just like to see big hits and if T20 or test cricket gives it,they go for it.
seriously people.quit watching cricket and watch baseball

What skills are u talking about 'therockingboy'?????????? ................ A batsman does not grow there skills by playing on flat batting surfaces with no spin, swing or bounce......................... Also a bowler does not gain any confidence by getting smacked all round the park..................... and this is just what happens in a 20-20 match..........

This is the age of instant nirvana. Cant you see what T20 has done to improve the over all image of Cricket. Just think, did anybody imagine, India would have scored more than 400 runs in the 50 over match, and did not any body imagine, that Srilanka will come very near to that score. It is only because of T20, that this is happening.Just see how many noballs, and wides have come down.
Further more, who wants to see a 5 day game, without any results. If the world cricket has to save test cricket, they have to change some rules, so that a result will be available. The days of dull draws are over.

Ya ................... india r scoring 400 runs in 50 overs.................. bt at what expense????????? bowlers are getting smacked to all parts of the ground............. no swing or seam and neither there is spin or bounce.............. pitches now are like made of concrete with no lateral movement................ i m telling u if there is a pinch of grass in the pitch the same Indian team will not be able to score even 300.................. like what happened against south africa on 2007 in Delhi.................. India got bundled for under 100 .............. just because there was a little bit of grass in the pitch.......................... So just big scores is not cricket............ a proper war between bat nd ball is cricket which 20-20 cant provide............... bt test cricket can................ so we must preserver test cricket

No I dont think that is a problem. Right now, T20 IPL is a new thing. Any new thing creates a turmoil. One day limited overs cricket did that too in its times. It will take time to settle but after a few years things will get into its place and each form of cricket will have its place in the hearts of the players and the audience.

ipl should be shutted down coz like it is just for betting and nothin else and the cricketers are getting the big amount of money which they have never expected
