yes i believe in mantras power.mantra is combination of man= mind and tran=freedom.so it means freedom of mind from all the bondages.but yes the right pronunciation of it is very much important.as we can see that if we change the pitch of our voice and ask sombody "bring me a glass of water",its meaning wud change from request to order.
