We had our meal @ the in-laws. They served, a beef roast, cooked broccoli & couliflour, dinner rolls, fruit salad, and of course green bean caserole. For desert we were served blueberry pie & strawberry shortcake. And for snacks there were cheese logs w/ crackers & a chex snack mix.
I wished they would of let us make dinner.

Well, we actually had the opportunity to choose between two different Christmas dinners, and neither of them impressed me very much. The first option was lasagna at my mother-in-law's house and the other option was to eat ham, broccoli casserole and scalloped potatos at my mother's house. Last year no one wanted to cook on Christmas day and we went to a Japanese Steakhouse for our Christmas dinner and I really enjoyed that and had actually hoped that we were going to be doing the same again this year. I personally just ended up munching at both houses.

Roast turkey, ham. stuffing, candied sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed veggies. Christmas pudding and cream, ice cream and a wonderful dessert called a Pavlova that th cook at the villa I manage part time made for me. It has a meringue basket filled with fresh cream and lots of cut up fruits. Out of this world. Totally amazing dessert that I could never have had made/

sounds good to me!
On Christmas Eve I went to my brother's. We had beef, mashed potatoes, cauliflower with cheese and cream and asparagus, yum! rolls and a green salad - then for dessert he bought pumpkin, pecan and fruit pies, none of which I could eat. Still I had plenty to eat and it was good.
Then on Christmas Day, after I got off work, I went to the roomie's folks and had ham, stuffing, a green salad and some green beans. The roomie's mom had made a pumpkin pie filling that I could eat and I did.

A group of friends got together at one of our favorite restaurants in town. There was a nice Christmas buffet, with many many delicious items. My favorite always is seafood, and that restaurant specializes in seafood cuisines. And, oh yes, many varieties of dessert items. There was a nice band playing all the Christmas specials, making the evening so wonderful !

Hi SnuggleBunnies! I cooked a spiral cut, brown sugar glazed ham for our Christmas dinner. We had seasoned mashed potatoes, stuffing (because the grandkids asked), sweet potato casserole, deviled eggs, corn on the cob, green beans, rolls...and birthday cake because today is also my son-in-law's birthday.

George has just fired up the grill. He is going to gril ribies and when it's time I'm going to make mashed potatos and broclki chease and rice as our two side dishes. Right now if I look out of the window I can see to some extent the orange flames caused by our grill.
