Do you find it easy to adapt changes?

There are people who can easily adjust to new changes, new environment, new fashion, new climate, new technology, new culture, etc. However, there are some who find it very difficult to adapt new things. Once they are used to old things, fashion, style, way of life, etc., they can't adapt to the new thingsno matter how convenient it may be for them along the way. How about you, how do you adapt to changes?

hi dorisday, it is easy for me to adapt changes as long as there is someone i am familar beside me. when i come to university, i was a little afraid, it was the first time i left home and my parents, to a completely new enviroment, but my best friend jane come to the same university with me, this made me relaxed a lot and i adapted to the new enviroment quickly.

Good thing if there are other persons who come with us because adapting to change is a lot easier. I hope you have a good and fun environment now. Happy Mylotting.

I feel I adapt pretty easily but sometimes not quick enough. I could go anywhere and find a way to be comfortable. The thing I've been working on lately is recognizing when is the right time to abandon a preconceived notion of doing something in a certain fashion. To elaborate, there may have been an opportunity which crossed my path but my head was already set on something that existed prior to this opportunity. I don't really regret any on the decisions I just hope to adapt more readily in the future.

I can adjust to most things but not a new environment. I'd be a total mess if we ever moved to another part of the country and left our kids here. Just not something either my husband or myself would like to do. We have lived in this house for over 35 years and I dread the day when we have to move. We do have one daughter who has lived in 3 different states in the last five years. She adjusts well and likes the moving around until the kids start school. I envy someone who can do this with little effort but it's just not for me.

It all depends normally I do make the effort to adapt, but on the whole like doing things the way I have always done. After trying the modern way for a while it does not always work very well for me.Adapting to new places is easy as we travel a lot in England in our caravan so waking up somewhere new is normal to us.Finding a new supermarket, attractions meeting new people is very enjoyable.New technology is where my failing is,mobile phones that take pictures, emails ect just cannot cope with all that.Tiny Ipods that have more music than my complete record collection on and more all in that tiny thing.Down loading music, wireless connections ,I am at a loss to imagine how on earth they do it.I just take the technology that I need and ignore the rest.We have a digital tv with lots of functions ,turning it on and finding the channel to watch is enough for me.I can listen to the radio on it as well. That is enough for my brain to take in.Happy New Year, love sue.

I'm pretty good at adapting to change. I find comfort in it sometimes. I do know people that hate it though. It can be scary.

Certainly our adaptability depends on how much we understand or not nature itself, to know how much we respect and adapt to new to it all the way and try to shape our thinking after that proves to be powerless before disasters. Come now and say that everything old times were better, all men, modest but just in thinking about what life were clear precepts, which knew how to discern good from evil without compromise or acceptance of false values??. Today, the world has changed. And not for the better. Unfortunately more and more we realize that technology so advanced it's not a solution to a better world. Road may not be coming back. I think today we just have to try, if possible, to be kind to those around us and ourselves. We thought was fair, honest and enjoy every day lived because we can not know what the future holds. We can only adapt our environment to the extent that we adapt. It's the natural and human environment, but where we are.

We all have a comfort zone and it's how secure we are in ourselves that determines how well we adapt to changes. One truth we know is that changes will happen, if we are comfortable within then we can better deal with what changes without.
