hi ethan! i didn't know you're sick! he he...
so how are you feeling now? its just two more days for the new year to come! .. drink plenty of water, as someone really close to me often said... and do not kiss!
full and complete rest should make you feel better. no computer, no tvs, no cellphone. sleep, sleep, sleep. that should cure you. :)
hope you'll recover soon!

I can drink lots of water. No problem with that. But a complete rest, I don't think so.
I am at the office right now. I'll be at the office tomorrow also. I will commute from Quezon City to Paranaque City after office hours tomorrow, celebrate New Year up to 12 am, sleep less than 8 hours, commute back to Quezon City on new year's day, and who knows what will happen after then. Hehehe. A complete rest is really out of the question.

It seems that you are a very, very hardworking person! Your company must be so lucky to have hired you! ... How could you do that? Stress yourself to the maximum, still going to office at this time of holiday seasons, and not resting? Life is short, so the best gift you can give yourself is the gift of good health in the best way that you can. Anyway, happy holidays! happy 2010!

Hello there. Well, you are not alone in that kind of situation. I also have cough and colds since the day before Christmas until now. This condition really irritates me and I could not even enjoy all the things I want to do. I couldn't eat foods that are sweet and cold as well. I am not really comfortable having this kind of health problem especially this season. Well I am just hoping that we'll get better soon. Happy mylotting

Hehehe. Where have you contracted your cough and colds?
You kissed one with that too?

No, I didn't. I really have allergic rhinitis and I am very sensitive to dust, sweet and cold foods. I easily catch colds in that way.

So, you are allergic to dust.
Good thing I don't have any allergy as far as I know it.

I am so sorry that you are sick with a cough/cold during the holidays. I remember one year I had a very nasty cough during Thanksgiving that made my voice sound really hoarse like I was a man . It sucks not feeling good when you are supposed to be all jolly and you have to participate in activities with family. I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you spicysweetie for the concern!
Four days to go before new year, hope I'll get well soon.

Hello gerry101! I do hope to get well soon.
Don't get near to people who coughs or sneezes a lot. You might get them. Regards to your family.
Have a happy new year's eve!

hi there, christmas day has passed, and new year is coming. it is a pity that you have caught a cold. but i think it is not a big problem, i am the one that getting a cold easily, but it would take no time to recover, maybe one day or two days as i take some pills and have enough rest. so my advice to you is that take enough rest, and then have a nice new year holiday.

Thank you buping for a nice advice.
I'll do that. I don't want to have coughs when the new year starts.

I'm sorry you're sick. I got sick this Thanksgiving, and it was terrible. I coughed like crazy, which is the symptom I hate the worst. It keeps me up all night, so I get cranky. :]
The holidays are a pretty popular time to get sick, since you're coming into contact with so many friends and family. I hope you feel better soon.

There has not been a holiday that has gone by in the last couple of years where we haven't had to deal with sickness of some sort or another during the holiday weekend. I believe that it is somewhere written that if doctors are difficult to get in touch with then that is the time that children have to get sick. Just last week, both of my children went through periods of flu-like illness both times after the doctor's office was closed for the night.

That's sad. So what did you do? Are they feeling good now?
