Earlier we used to call our relatives by telephone,we had to think what we will say ,when we would start our conversation, we used to write letter with all our emotions, thinking deeply what to write, how the reciever will feel while reading it. We used to gather around the letter came and together read it aloud,But today when call comes , u know what most of people do , we all walk out of the room and then start talking, and that too without any emotions ,we just pick up the phone and give the answer as if it is our duty, nothing more than that ,isn't it?

I honestly don't feel that phones take away our emotions. It depends on who you are and how you allow it to make you feel. You are your own person and you control how you feel. If you feel that strongly about the phone removing all emotion from you, then probably you should get rid of your device.
You can put as much or little emotion you want behind your actions, so it is you that is in control, not the phone.

I agree that messaging were more filled with feelings a few years back but when technology spread its wings, e-mail and sms broke out and brought a revolution with shortest msg ever. Making connection easier but away from feelings.
You Know"to get something we have to loose something.
