Ok there are so many times where I heard long time ago and then when I show them to my friends they don't like it. HOWEVER once it becomes popular they start to like it and they think they show it to me thinking I didn't know it before.
This happens every time with tv shows, movies, but mostly with music.
I've had many times where I either heard of the artist or a specific song for a while when it was not well known. I listen to it a lot and I show it to my friend. When they hear it they think its the crappiest piece of sh*t they heard in their life. But after a while it becomes popular and they start to hear it on the radio. Then my friend comes up to me and tells me that they start liking the song, in which I liked long time before, and then they they start asking me if I like it. -_-
I remember the time I heard Lady Gaga way before it was well known. Im sure she was known somewhat, but I mean not as known as she is now. I listened to it when barely even anybody knew who she was. One time I was listening to lady gaga infront of my friends and family and ask me what kinda crap I was playing because it sounds so weird and different from what they are used to hearing? I told them it was Lady Gaga and I really liked her. Eventually, as many of you know she is well known and really famous now. NOW, my mom dances to this song and my friend loves Lady Gaga. Im like seriously, why do you people wait until its popular and well known to like something? Its the same story with Kesha-TIK TOK. I dont want to elaborate because its basically the same thing as lady Gaga.
I like songs when they were not as well known. When songs are well known, not only does it get over-played, but people keep singing it and you keep thinking to yourself," HEY I HEARD THAT FIRST BEFORE YOU GUYS EVEN KNEW IT!" -_-
Does anybody feel the same way? If not, lets discuss. =]

hi there!! Good dAy..
I experienced the same thing too when i was in my high school days.. But now, not at all, because I am too busy.. The feeling that you are rejected at first, that how I feel.. But as the times goes on and it became popular, people were acting that they were the first who knew it!! Hehe, some of them were really a good actor and actress!!

hahah sorry for the bad grammar and spelling. I was typing fast.
BUT YEA! I know right? Once it becomes popular they act like they knew it first. Im like NO YOU DIDNT. I KNEW THIS BEFORE ANY OF YOU DID! hahah Exactly. It goes for everything. Everything I know before my friends, they think I am weird at first. Next time, I will video record myself show this to my friends and recording them rejecting me. THEN when it becomes popular I will be in their face and say NO NO NO...DONT EVEN SAY YOU HEARD IT FIRST. I HAVE A TAPE TO PROVE IT! =] ahaha
Thanks for the response! =D

I have a little explanation why your friends doesn't like it at first. It is because that is the first time that they got the chance to hear it. Like Lady Gaga's songs, I find it weird at first but I listen to the song when I once saw her performance on American Idol. I heard it on the radio playing, but when I saw her performance on American Idol live I began to like it. We began liking things when we heard or see it again. There are things or songs that we like at the first time we hear or see it, but there are things on the second glance. I have similar experience just like you that is why I understand. In my group of friends I am the music lover, so that is why when there is a new music playing I am the one that share the news to my friends and they check it out. If they will like its okay if they will not that is okay too.

Yea exactly. I agree. I just dont like the feeling of that. Haha
I actually don't share most of the songs I hear that not a lot of people know. That goes the same for clothes. The reason being is that I like being one of the special people who knows the latest things. If a lot of people know it, not only will it start becoming a fad, but I will see/hear it everywhere. And I will start feeling HEY I KNEW THIS BEFORE ANY OF YOU DID. hahahaha! Its just that feeling that makes me sad.
Thanks for the response!
