How can I change my avatar?

I'm quite new to myLot, and as I always did when joining a site, I spend some time changing my profile. BUT it seems that I cannot find out the way to change my avatar. I have tried uploading some photos, and clicking on my blank avatar, but maybe it's not the ways to change avatar. Anyone could help?
