Ishants terrible time on field continues. Though he performed well in the T20 matches against Srilanka and showed a lot of fire with his performance he has failed miserably in the ODIs again. The little rest he got during the Test matches dont seem to have done much good to him. He needs to go back and play domestic cricket regularly on the dead pitches so as to learn to cope with them especially after foreign tours where he gets lively pitches. I am worried about Sreesanth too. Even he doesnt enjoy a good record in ODIs. Economy rate is something Sreesanth has to work on. He gives away too many loose deliveries for the batsmen to score.Its like he wants to get a wicket on every delivery and doesn't realise how great bowlers trap the batsmen by bowling to a plan. 59 wickets in 41 matches at an economy rate of 5.78 is not a great statistic but then again the passion he brings to the field is not shown in the stats. The man does give his everything in anything he does on the field. If only he could concentrate a little better it would have been great.
