FRIEND caaled me an Ugly name this morning

I do have friends that I can be honest with....actually I don't have any friends that I can't be honest with. I prefer it that way. Of course, I do have acquantices (did I even spell that right??) that I can't be that open with. I like to be honest and open with my friends and I want then to be open and honest with me. I have always been known to "shoot from the hip" and anyone that knows me, knows not to ask for "your honest opinion" unless they REALLY want to know the truth...caz I will tell it like it is. I try not to be hateful about it, and I use tact, but I will tell someone the truth and not sugar coat it.

I don't think I will acknowledge that person as a good friend. It's will deteriorate my health badly every year end. That person I will treat her as just a neighbor. Then I will not need to bother about trying to escape her sharp eyes for knowing that I am just too poor to buy decos for my house and will not worry about scolding her bad when she starts giving me "beautiful" names.

Hi, ANTIQUELADY. Well my good friends don't curse. But a few of my wild associates may respond in a silly way like this. If I make them laugh hard enough. Me and my cousin can get together and make each other laugh about many things. It is fun when you can have fun together without always being so serious. Life should be enjoyable and funny and not so much like a strict teacher/judge all of the time.

I do have a friend that i carry on with. I actually carry on quite frequently but I have learned to be a little more careful with that..LOL..some people just don't appreciate my sense of humor sometimes.

well, that is so funny that is normal bantering between friends and have to deal with her personality. Though, some may find it annoying between friends it is alright and both already adjusted to it. I have friends who jokes anything from silly to the funny ones as long as it never get hurt from it then it have nothing to worry just another sort of entertainment between friends. if u r friend call u with ugly name dont feel about it u just forget it u just stop avoiding that type of friends one day they reyalise about it but you should be a good to him even though they call with a ugly name that is called real friendship at one fineday they no about u

well thats interesting. see you are a nice easy going person like me. i used to have a couple of friends like that then since i've been moving around no longer know where they are. but now the last couple of friends i've had you cant joke with because they take to much seriously and think you mean it. i dont like touchy people. i have a couple of kids i can talk that way with but i have one thats very touchy and serious and dont take it right if you joke with her.

It's all in good fun isn't it. I know it made your day to be able to call and tell her that. You guys sound like real true friends to be able to poke fun at each other in good spirit. I do wish I had a friend like that. I didn't put up much decorations either. Just some candles in the windows and a wreath on the door and I have finished taking my decorations down too. I looked up the street and I saw my sister outside taking all those lights down from outside her house. She has candy canes lined up and down her side walk. I guess I could be a good sport and go up there and help her.

Good friends are better than anything in the world I would never trust a woman who did not have any girl friends

Hi lady LOL..Im glad to hear that you do have friends that you can joke with on that kind of note. I really don't have any friends to say, other than the ones that I meant on here. I do however have an ex daughter inlaw that I still get along great with. We can say things like that to each other and neither get offensive. I know that might sound strange but we bonded many years ago and still have that kind of bond with each other... Keep smiling.

Yes, i do have friends like that, that i can carry on with that but not very many people. Alot of people take things to extremes and take things you would say too seriously. So you have to watch what you say to people.

LOL. I do not have anyone personally that I carry on like that with other than my mom LOL. We both decorate alot though so there is not much nitpicking we can do with each other. We do tease each other at times though because we say we will not put alot of decorations up each year and then end up going overboard with them LOL.

i have a sarcastic friend who always love talking that way and would even lol after. good thing that im used to his style and never got offended even once. he would always tell you any ugly names that he can think of and once you got offended, he would just say, "the truth really hurts".

Yes I can believe that Antique you are not that old.Yes I do have many friends like that in fact all my friends are like that .All my friends know that when they ar ewith me expect to be teased .I guess I am like you though Antique with regard to putting up decorations ,I never put any at all.Like you I think its a waste of time to put them up and have to take them down again

I have a very good friend and we are always abusing each other,we row like an old couple and are a great source of amusment to those around us,but she is the best friend I have ever had loyal and she puts up with me.It is so nice when we meet up as we can be ourselves and accept each other warts and all.It is nice to have a friend like that.Happy New Year to you Jo.
