I had my first child on Valentine's Day this year. I then lost my job in May. So things are very difficult for me. My son is my mom's first biological grandchild. So she and my (step)father spoil him so much! She is always buying him things and of course yesterday was just crazy! But they also surprised me with a Cricut (a paper cutting machine for scrapbooking and such). I'm 25 yrs old and they still make me feel like a child at Christmas. And since it's hard to read emotions in typing, let me say I'm not at all COMPLAINING, I'm so thankful!!!! It feels great! I know that they will always help me out if I really need it. They constantly buy me formula and baby food, clothes for my son, etc. I couldn't ask for better parents. I even wrote them a card telling them that.

I am not surprise. My mom and my father do the same thing to my 1 year old daughter. They treat her like a pearl, and family found treasure. I am more than grateful. That is mother nature right. My mom would love her so much, and I would do the same. Now, my job is keeping on earning money and bring bread to the table. Raise her right, and do my job right.

Heheheh. . My nephews get lots of presents, too. Not to worry about that. Uh oh, so that helps you with your job loss. Do you think you'll find a new job? Hope so. Are you getting UE? Does your husband help you out with the bills? I'm sure most parents feel like the grandparents and relatives are spoiling their children with lots of presents, right?
