drop in discussions

I have a very genuine reason - I had to unplug my PC to make room for the Christmas tree! Then my son wanted me to shift again so he could set up his new train set. I bought it for him, so I can't be too angry ...

Hi benny128! I have noticed a drop on discussions. Maybe people are very busy with all the activities they have had this Christmas. Perhaps they are even getting ready for the New Year. Maybe the others are out on a tour or something. I just hope that there will be more discussions in the days to come.

Well I am not guilty this time lol I was not on much at all on double earnings day and have started no discussions at all this month - until yesterday. One yesterday and one today and that is NOT what I usually do at all

i think lots of people are away over this time. mind you on double points day some people did get very carried away.

I've noticed that in the last couple days: people haven't been starting discussions as often as they were last week. I hope your right and people are just lazy because of the holidays.

It could be a number of people have company, relatives and such, over their house. I know I responded quite a bit yesterday, going from somewhere around 149 to 166. It's less today because of errands--and I still have a sermon outline to write, and write an article for Demand Studios. Tomorrow might be even less since I have 3 services. Next week I might be tied up to--perhaps litterally (sp?) since hopefully some of our grandchildren will be here.

You are quite right benny. There has been a substantial drop of discussions in myLot for the last couple of days. The fact is I wanted to start a discussion on this, but you have beat me to it. Even today, the discussion have been quite less, but not so bad as what it was for the last two days. I hope the position will increase in the coming days.

i'm sure it's the holidays. summer vacations cause a drop sometimes too. new year's day will probably see a dip with people sleeping off parties.

Well I started a handful of discussions on double up day for the reason of possibly getting a chance to better my earnings...for two reasons one is because I wanted to make sure that I would have enough to respond to and because I seem to make a little bit more earnings on the days that I comment on my own discussions. I haven't started as many since that day because the holidays are here and I am busier with that but also because I can't think of anymore right now because of doing so many on double up day...I am not going to feel guilty though for doing more discussions on double up day than other days, we are all here to make money so why not try for it on a day when earnings are doubles I mean isn't that what double up day was for after all?

Well I expected there to be a drop the day after because so many people had spent so much time on the website the day before that they would have other plans and other things on their to do lists to accomplish. And then think about what days have followed. We have just had an extremely huge holiday and therefore many people are traveling, shopping, having family visit. They are having quality time off the Internet which should be done. I know that is why I haven't made an appearance until today.

Well I know I have been way busy with the holidays. I am sure that is why everyone else isn't here also. Finally Christmas is over, I plan on getting back to things. Was there a such thing as double commission in the first place?

I pretty much have to agree with the other responses that it is related to the holiday that we just had. But lets not forget that there is still another coming up real soon. I know for myself my lack has been because of too much going on with the holidays. Im back now and will try to do my best to catch up. Maybe this would be a good time for mylot admin to add something special to our basket... Keep smiling.

I don't think it has something to do with mylot not offering double commission. When the admin sent me that alert message,of course, I was kinda excited, but when I checked my earnings for that day, it was the lowest that I get so far since I started becoming active here only 4 months ago.LOL However, this did not daunt me to still post or visit mylot. I believe it has something to do more with the holiday. I now spend more time with my family since my partner is on vacation. I can't say "no" whenever he has plans to take us out for my daughter's sake. We often got home late and there's no really time to open the pc because more often than not, at the end of the day, I feel so wasted and the only thing I can think of is my bed.LOL

I think it's because of Christmas celebrations. Not because of not offering double commission. I was here during Christmas. I enjoyed discussing Christmas with people here. Even at Christmas Eve.

I haven't been in here much since the Christmas Eve in the morning. I was expecting my ex here to celebrate Christmas with the family, and once we got here, we were watching Christmas movies on dvd as I thought it would be rude to be online during the hours he was here. Christmas morning was the same way, except we changed gifts before we went to our son's to celebrate the holiday. We watched movies on dvd until we left to go to our son's. Since I don't come in here Friday night or Saturdays, until the night time, then I haven't really been here. I have noticed though that the discussions are less, but I think the holidays might have something to do with it, and maybe also, that users aren't being paid double like they were on Tuesday of this week. I was intending to be in here even without the double earnings, as I really like it so much in here as I am having lots of fun, and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
