Problem with Italian Buyer?

Hello, anybody ever sell an ebay item to Italian buyer??? Do you have problem with them? How long an item sent from other country will arrive at Italy? I just sent an item from Malaysia to Italy on 14/12/09 and today, the buyer open dispute at Paypal and has escalated this dispute to a claim. I just sent via registered mail, not Express Mail that they can expect the item will arrive soon.
Anyone would like to share about your experience with Italian Buyer?

I've got the same experience with Italian buyer.I suspect it might be due to its unreliable Postal service.It's been more than a month now & the item are missing.
What i did was sent him photos of Receipt of posting,just to reassured him that i really did post out the item.Next,give the buyer the Tracking no again & ask him do some trekking with it's local post office(even though the chances are slim).
Then i did my part,filling up a form (something like R & P 67)with our Post Office to inquire about the item(s).This process can take up from 2 to 4 weeks to get reply.
Still waiting today,just cross my heart & hope for the best.

hye tayd88. Ya, I read many complaint from many seller that ship their item to Italy. Now, I'll let paypal to investigate this case and I'll resolve this problem. Before this, I never have problem to ship my item to other country such as US, UK and Australia. All transactions going smooth.

hi friend, Yeah,other countries seems fine. I posted some items before to Italy & seems fine but somehow i felt a bit cautious.Sometimes it just out of our cotrol when items are posted overseas.
So,try to reason with your buyer(s) in the future but in a honest way.Just don't overstate.It's important to gained the buyers confidence.I'm sure there's a way to solve it if both parties are agreeable.

Hello! You will have to provide to PayPal the proof of shipment. If you sent it 14 December they may not have got it because it does take 5 to 10 business days via airmail. Was it sent air mail registered or via boat mail? Boat mail takes longer. Keep the dispute active, keep responding to it.
Once the item is received the buyer should close the dispute.
