hi lokilla007!
i like the james bond reference in your handlename. first off, welcome to mylot. hope to read more of your discussions and thoughts here.
about your question, i prefer burger king's whopper. it's tastier, juicier, and over-all tastes better than the big mac of mcdonalds.
cheers!!!

Tough choice, but I think what determines this is whether or not you like your burgers fried or if you like that cooked-outside on the grill taste. I've never really liked big macs and usually get a 1/4 pounder with cheese when I go to McD's...I think I'd have to pick the whopper just because it's not so greasy. My favorite fast food burgers are from Wendy's though, but they are all pretty good actually, especially if you're really hungry! Now for french fries, I think McD's are the best and Arby's curly fries come in second.

If those were the only choices possible, I'd choose the Whopper. It at least has some sort of recognizable taste to me. There's just something about McDonalds' "burgers", (and I use the term loosely) that is simply indiscernable to me as having taste of any kind. It remains, in my mind, mystery meat (as in ??? what is this I am eating?). I have really tried to enjoy a McDonalds' "burger", even trying the "Angus burger", but still find it questionable at best. Even putting condiments on it doesn't give it any taste. It just isn't "right" in any way - seasoning, texture, taste, chew. I don't know why, but I can't even call it a "burger" in any sense of the word. It's the only specimen of its kind that I simply cannot recognize as "burger" or meat of any known kind.
Their fries and McGriddles are to my taste, but I just can't get by their ferocious "burgers".

When I was a kid, I ate both but mostly Big Macs. Now that I am older, I don't care for them much or the new mac snack wrap they made. But if I am at BK's then definitely I will order the Whopper. I just love how it tastes. I usually get the Whopper Jr and Cheesy tots.

I love grabbing a burger if Im in a hurry or just dont feel like cooking and I'd have to say that I do prefer the whopper because of the meat itself is less greasy then mcdonalds big mac, but when I get a big mac I always get extra mac sauce because it is just the best part of that burger....so I guess if you take the whopper and add mac sauce to it it would be the BEST BURGER i've ever eaten. Because I'd have to agree with the fact that I like the onions and tomato and not just lettuce.
