Gilmore Girls aired for many years. Over the years, we watched Rory Gilmore go to school and graduate college. We saw the relationship struggles of Lorralie. Watched the dymanics of the Gilmore family. What were your favorite scene's from these episodes? What made this a classic scene that you watched over and over again? Was it a humorous scene? A touching moment? A moral of wisdom? The subtle references to things you rember from growing up?

I agree Kirk is one of a kind on the Gilmore Girls. He always make me laugh in one of his scenes. I definitely believe Gilmore Girls is just one of those feel good television shows that you can turn on even after the toughest day and find something funny to laugh about on this show. I just wish that they had not ended the show after season 7. Personally, I think the show could have much more life left to it. It was like Rory graduated college got a job and the show ended with the viewers still wanting more.

Awhile back I read somewhere (it could have been on myLot) something about a rumor about a movie for Gilmore Girls. I keep crossing my fingers that they will surprise us with a made for tv movie or something that helps the series come to better close or them do some type of sequel where they pick it up from Rory's life an adult raising her own family.

Hi aireanna
I loved this show, a friend always said to me wtf that is a girly show, but i guess he never actually saw the show to made that statement. Gilmore girls was so amazing, i loved Lorelai character, it was so frenetic and so funny, she had a fast humour that was sometimes hard to catch. I dont remember an outstanding scene right now(i havent seen that show in over a year) but i loved Lorelai humor scenes. It was such a nice show, too bad the final episode was so lame.

Loralie was a fantastic character on the show. Many of the scenes there is just so many subtles from the interactions to what is being said to the references that you can rewarch the shows so many times and always find a new aspect that you did not pick up on the first time.
I kind of know what you mean about the finale. Part of the lameness I think is that it left you wanting more. I never quite understood why they left it that way. Maybe the writers wanted to leave it open ended or up to the viewers imagination. I mean it would have been something if Luke got down on one knee asked Loralie to marry him or something, but the way the left it is like Loralie and Luke should be together but will they ever get it right and marry each other.

I miss the Gilmore wit. I wish they would bring it back. Maybe a tv movie? After all Rory was off to follow Barrack O'bama on the campaign trail. Come on writers it could make a great series to bring back.

reading this question (without the description), the first thing that came to my mind was max medina's proposal to lorelai. the one with the daisies? i thought that was really sweet. while watching the show, i secretly thought that i would loved to be proposed to in a similar way :)
probably i watched it over and over again because it's a feel good show for most of the times. i like the subtle humor and the way the script is written is different from most shows.

Yes, Max's proposal was sweet the only thing missing was him asking her face to face. Yes, it was romantic the way all the daisies just showed up at the Inn. It was a nice touch to see how some men really listen and pay close attention. I think my favorite part was how all the daisies drove Michelle crazy. He was quite a character. I think the true magic to this show was the unique characters on the show.

Gilmore Girls ran for 7 seasons before they ended the show. I would approximate that each season about 22 episodes of the show. I've been renting the DVD's through Netflix. Generally each DVD has 4 episodes exept for the disc 6 of each series which only has two episodes on it.
The characters are pretty zany (if that is even a word)! It makes me laugh and I can totally relate to the characters.

I have a complete obsession with Gilmore Girls and I am saving up for the DVD's as they are fairly expensive.
My favourite scene of all time was in the final series when Luke and Lorralie had broke up and it was Kareoke and she was singing 'I will always love you' by Whitney. Every time I watch this episode I get tears in my eyes as it is so heart breaking but touching.
I love all of the times when Lorralie comes out with all herone liners and funny comments. They never fail to make me laugh =]
I wish Gilmore Girls had carried on.

I know what you mean there were so many times that it just seemed like Lorraine and Luke would get together in the show. I thought for sure when Luke bought the house for her that they would end up married happily ever after in the show. If nothing else, Lorraine could have just imagined how crazy her marrying Luke would have made her mother Emily. Then, her parents were even starting to get on board and started to like Luke. How heartbreaking was it after Emily had picked out a house for a wedding present for Lorraine and Luke for her to have to tell her mother that the wedding was off.

I too, am completely obsessed with GG!!! I have every season and have rewatched them too many times to count! I have to say that my fav season is 4. I love the first time that Luke and Lorelei dance at Luke's sisters crazy wedding! So romantic! I also like their first kiss, during the run through at the Dragonfly. Very romantic. I wish their storyline would have turned out differently. :-( Oy with the poodles already!

I loved Lorelai & Max scenes from the early episodes of season one especially the scene in the coffee house where he was trying to convince her to date him. I also loved the scene in the first season when Chris proposed to Lorelai. It kills me. I love those scenes because they're fast, witty and romantic. Very well written and acted. Great show!

I agree it was the best show of all time! I miss watching it so much. I wish I had the DVD series. I has thinking about when Max proposed by sending her the 1,000 daisies. I find it amazing how many times Lorraline was proposed to in the show.
