Why do pretty guys appear snobbish?

I've always wondered about this. Pretty boys don't turn their heads when a pretty chick comes along or passes by. Do they feel too proud that they pretend they don't care? Or are girls not just at the top of their list? I've always thought of pretty boys as snobbish. Enlighten me please.

I think not all pretty boys are snobbish but I know a lot of them has the proud attitude since they think highly of themselves. They thought they are better than anyone else because of their good looks but the truth is they look stupid and annoying if they behave wrongly.

That is because they are too conscious about their look that they tend to be too snobbish.

I consider looking at pretty chicks somewhat awkward. For me it's ok if I look at the girl in question not more than 1 second since I consider it rude to look at a person for a long time. It's just about a feeling of making the other person feel awkward.
