FACT # 1 : A lot of animators who made the movie, Finding Nemo are Filipinos.
FACT # 2 : There is a "bahay kubo" or nipa hut in the tank.
(The bahay kubo is the Philippine National house)
FACT # 3 : Filipinos pronounce fisherman as PISHERman, hence the name written on the diver's mask was "P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney"
FACT # 4 : When Gil and friends finally got the tank dirty, they were devastated when they found out the next morning that the tank was clean due to the newly installed tank purifier with a built-in sensor.. The purple and yellow fish, if you watch carefully, covers his private parts when the red sensor scans him and everything else in the tank. =))

Remember the initiation bit, where he has to swim over mount 'Wanna-hock-a-loogie? - the air stone?
Well - and I know some of you will find this gross - but in The U.K., to 'Hock a Loogy' is to spit thick flegm from the back of your nose or your throat over something!
I have to admit, when I first heard them say it, I had to re-wind and listen again - then I fell on the floor in fits of laughter! :-)
Enjoy it the next time you see it (I reckon that'll be very soon, eh, just to see if I'm right! lol).

Those are some very interesting facts. It's been awhile since I've watched the movie, but I did not know about those things. It's always fun to hear little tidbits about the making of a movie, or behind the making of a movie. P. Sherman and Pisherman is interesting. The pronounciation of Fisherman in the Phillippines language has a phonetic spelling in the English language, wow and cool!

Wow cool! Finding Nemo was like my favorite childhood movie of all time! I dont even know how many times I have seen it. Unfortunately I knew fact 1 and fact 4 haha. I know that we Filipinos sometimes mispronounce P to F and vice versa but I never really thought it (P.Sherman) was based in our way of speaking English. Thought it was just a joke LOL. Oh and I never notice that there's a "kubo" in there. Nice Trivia.
