How strict a yogini have you been? What have you been practicing? I have been trying to be a yogi for a years now, and I haven't become one yet. But, all the best to you, on your path and may God bestow all you deserve as you move forward with your karmas.
Everybody chooses a path, what their mind feels comfortable with, also a path, they have been choosing for many incarnations. So, there has been some attachment from the past, that makes people choose a path. But, it's not necessary, just because the mind, and the five senses, identifies itself with the path, that the path exists. We "think", that this path exists, and it's great, and it's awesome to meditate, wow... amazing.. and I am progressing or whatever. But, in actuality, none of it is happening. The only reality, is nothing but universal consciousness.
There is nothing as beautiful as direct perception of truth. Once you perceive it, you shall drop all paths, because you would realize, in fact, there is no path. And once you come to realize, that there is no God, no devotee, no Guru, no disciple, no prayer, no worship, no scripture, no learning, no path, no teaching, no me, no you, no eyes, no nose, no mouth, no tongue or taste, or touch.......... And, there is only "Nothing" that exists, know that day, you have become a yogini. You will be a yogini when you attain direct perception of truth, and merge with the universal consciousness. Hope you do sooner or later... All the best and God be with you.

And what does it mean to "merge with the universal consciousness"? Is it beyond just being aware of it? What would it look like to someone else? What would a person who 'is merged' be doing? Would they live a normal life or just be still and not interacting in any discernible way with other people?
