They have me taking webutrin xl and geodon. I have been at my best since taking these meds. I want to start my new year off right. I have not had any bad thoughts in a few months. I was hospitalized in Nov for suicide. But I am doing better now. I meant to say weeks not months. Are you doing better with your meds?

Hi sharon From one depression person to another Im glad to hear that you doing much better now. I too have something that they call bipolar. I have to take meds and sleep meds too. I have been on them for some time now and I truly can see a differnce in myself as well. Don't let the depression get you down and if you ever need to talk I am just a PM away. Your life is way too important.. Keep smiling.

For me my counselor, family, and effort were all as important with my meds. I had a couple relapses after I started taking lithium, but when I started working hard on my relationships, my psychology and philosophy, and got rid of all of the bad parts of my life, it was smooth sailing. I've been healthy for a couple of years now. With a little effort, you can be healthy! Good luck!

I used to be on Wellbutrin and it worked well for me until my insurance company switched me to generic form. Then I started having mood swings and getting depressed again. My husband used to be on Geodon until it quit working for him so they switched him to Lamictal, Halidal, and Paxil. I am now on Zoloft, Klonopin, and Abilify and they work well for me. I am glad you found meds to help you. It took me a while to find the right meds for me. I have Bipolar, avoidant personality disorder, panic disorder, and agoraphobia. Sometimes the meds work great for me but sometimes I still have mood swings and panic attacks. :)

That is great that you are doing really well by taking your medication properly like you should. I hope that you will get so much more better as time progresses. I don't take any kinds of medication at all.

Greetings Sharon, I do not take any medication. I do take natural B-complex, soy protein, and when feeling really low, Shaklee Mood Lift- a combination of St. John's Wort an some other herbs. I had a bout with major depression back in the early 80's, but the Lord led me out of it, one of things being the B-complex and protein. I do have a relative who had taken Welbutrin and she seemed to do quite well.

Well for depression, medicines are not solution. Do Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle depression.

I was diagnosed with clinical depression and being an agoraphobic.I need medication or I have fears of being out inpublic.I'm now waiting for a doctors appointment to get myself back on meds.I avoid being out in public as much as possible, when I'm out there I have panick attacks,I get a fear like something bad will happen to me.That's good to hear that you're doing better.I know how it feels,I fall into bad depressive moods because of my condition.
